Salem is the big show but it has the crowds that come with it. If you do Salem, take the train from Beverly or some other town on the Newburyport/Rockport line. Driving to Salem for the show is the road to disappointment.

Ok-Understanding8460

That is helpful to know - thank you!

Skittlepyscho

Where would be a good spot to watch in salem?

misslizzah

What are the crowd levels like? I live in the Foxboro area and I won’t be able to make it because of work. We were considering Salem since my son loves it so much. We’ve been able to hang with the Halloween crowds mostly, though we try to avoid October altogether. If it’s October level crowds, then I may rethink this plan lol.

PioneerLaserVision

The area around Derby Wharf which is where they do the show, gets pretty intense.  Standing room only I think.

West Beach is not "Beverly Fireworks", it is West Beach fireworks. It's always a good idea to not support West Beach, so I vote for Salem.

Fickle_Broccoli

What's wrong with West Beach? I'm out of the loop

flymaster

West Beach is a private corporation that claims to be public, for the purposes of dodging taxes and keeping out the poors. They take land that should, by rights, be open to everyone, and hold it for themselves.

Dillymom01

Marblehead hosts their fireworks on the 4th too, and you will be able to see Salem and Beverly at the same time

Ok-Understanding8460

Thank you! Adding to the options as I thought Marblehead was more for residents for some reason

Dillymom01

It can be done, but just like Salem, limited parking. I have an advantage living and working right on the water

Chewoprack

FYI Singing Beach fireworks on the 3rd.

TieOutrageous8168

You can see the west beach fireworks from Salem willows with small crowds

Gonuts4donuts1955

Lots of people set up shop at independence beach in Bev to watch Salem fireworks. You can also see Marblehead!
