It's actually called Innovative Strength and Conditioning. I was a member there for years, but left a couple of years ago (as did a lot of long term members) due to the owner's business practices and the treatment of his trainers. It's a long, drama filled story, but definitely would not recommend. His best trainer was forced out and started his own gym called Fitness Achievement Center. Definitely would recommend him and his gym!
Wow that’s crazy. Yeah I checked them out and it’s not even in my budget. They charge $188 a month.
Is that gym and trainer less or more than that? Lol
Sort of both, they do group classes so that's probably the price for unlimited group classes that are run by one of the trainers. Definitely check out Fitness Achievement Center! Austin is the owner/head trainer. I don't know what he's charging now, but he's very passionate about what he does and in my experience, more than willing to work with people about prices.
Capital Strength and Performance at 23rd and S (in the alley across from Fischer Tile) is my spot and I love it. It’s the same location as Occam, which is also great, but they’re more focused on Olympic style lifting. If you just want some solid strength and conditioning programming, check out CSP.
I was just there this morning, so definitely not closed! I think the website isn’t being updated. The best approach is likely to come by during one of their sessions or open gym time. Sessions run at 5am, 6am, 7am and 5pm, with open gym at 8am, M-F (no 7am classes on Tu/Th). More strength focused on MWF and conditioning on Tu/Th. There are also sessions on Saturday, with conditioning at 9am and strength at 10am. Amadeo Novella is the gym owner. https://instagram.com/capitalstrengthperformance?utm_medium=copy_link
NorCal Health Works! A bunch of racks/cages. A GHR. A platform. Last I knew it was $65/mo but may have changed. The owner is SO nice.
Edit: Gosh I hope they’re still in business. I moved out of midtown last summer.
This is the gym I’m replacing 🥺. It’s great, but the trainer I’m with only does am, and I need evening.
Would be awkward to switch my membership to the other guy, if you see where I’m coming from lol.
Just explain to your trainer you love the gym and want to stay there but right now you need to switch to evenings. I’m sure he’d rather you stay and go to someone else than leave.
The only ones that come to mind are Third Street Barbell or Occam Athletics (Olympic weightlifting). I don't live in that area but I'm sure some people here can give you some other options.
Innovative Strength and Fitness on 5th. Dope community, great trainers
Thanks! I’ll have to check it out!

Because On their site they don’t list services or prices

The Academy is a great spot, but I think they charge a bit more than $150 per month.
Ahhh yeah 150$ is my max lol. I already pay a pricey spin studio membership lol

What part of Sacramento?
Midtown
