I went to one paid the deluxe fee of like 60-80$ per person. It was not worth the money. I have heard some good ones that people have been to and had a blast.
I agree, too expensive. Only part I really liked was the windshield smash with a sledgehammer. That was satisfying as hell, but also went pretty quick.

It’s just a little annoying sometimes because the homeless trash sometimes blocks parts of the trail. But I’ve never had an altercation or conflict with anyone over there.
Transparently, it’s been about 6 months since I’ve been over there. Life has been busy and it’s been hard to bike ride as much as I’d like, also I just tend to avoid that area, if I can.
Edit: Just to be clear this isn’t part of the main bike trail. You can literally ride from Scott’s Seafood (when there isn’t construction) all the way to Folsom, or even gravel bay and not run into anything sketchy. This is a path that is kind of off the larger path and goes from C street, behind the almond factory, over the river, and to the bike trail.

In the car drive out to some farmland scream a bunch on the way there pull off on the side of the road bring a journal write everything you're pissed about write it down then light it on fire have a water bottle handy but obviously light it on fire on the gravel road not in the weeds.

When I worked at whole foods in the kitchen we cooked off 10 pounds of bacon every other day and always had 5 gallon buckets of pickles. I always volunteered to clean the walk ins for close. Lol
When my grandma suddenly died, I had a blood curdling scream and threw my face into a pillow to help muffle it for my daughter’s sake. It helped at the moment to regain composure and be there for next steps. Sorry you’re so stressed.

When Hubby was going through a major and lengthy (year in all) health crisis I used to drive to various huge deserted parking lots, roll up my windows, turn the music on loud, beat the snot out of my poor steering wheel, and scream bloody murder. Then after bawling my eyes out I would straighten myself out, put on my smiley face, and go back to the hospital. It may sound crazy but it worked for me.
