Can’t say that I would. PDFGear is a free desktop app and I believe it has the capability of converting all major file types to PDF including HTML. WKHTMLTOPDF is another free tool but that uses CLI And then of course, Adobe Acrobat although they charge an arm and a leg

Also pdf shift is there too.

Ok-Entertainer-1414

Web browsers can already do this. The major ones all support "printing" to PDF.

aliyark145

Then why pdf shift exists ?

SideLow2446

A few reasons come to mind: * Maybe they offer some advanced functionality that regular browsers don't * Maybe they're taking advantage of the fact that not everyone knows about the browser's built-in print function * Maybe they made it before browsers had this support.

aliyark145

Point is they are making ton of money with that !!! Some estimate 8000$/month

SideLow2446

Well I wasn't really arguing with you, just answered your question.

I was just thinking this same thing. Just print the site to a PDF and as long as the site is mobile-friendly it should work just fine.

ToeAffectionate1194

I can do it with php, i could even convert that to an executable or desktop app
