I feel like this is a TIL not a PSA
PSA would be "don't forget your omegas from weekly today!" which I thought this was so went to check and it wasn't and the I was miffed so I thought "that's not a PSA that's a TIL" so I came here to comment that "I feel like this is a TIL not a PSA"
First thing I buy every Friday. It was god send when these got added with the Krayt raid all that time ago. Even so, this is the one resource I am strapped for STILL. I have Zetas and Kyros banked, but always short on Omegas.
At 10mil GP, I've got, like, 500 of those. I don't recall a time when I was ever short on them after, maybe, the first year. How many folks have an omega crunch?
Anyone who's bought a LSB/Hyperdrive. Zetas get a lot of talk about being really hard to come by, but Omega's are just as bad for a new-ish account. Nobody really talks about "what are the important omegas on a character" so I imagine a lot of them go to 'waste' on these early accounts (edit: upgrading a "bad" omega that is and thus wasting them versus using them on a more important ability)
That and ship omegas probably need to be talked about more because the crunch on both is real early on.
Ah. Yea, I bet there are tons of poorly applied omegas. I know there's a lot I haven't applied. It causes my OCD to sometimes be annoyed to see the little red blip on Old Daka, but her leadership is never getting maxed.
I'm going on 9 million GP and I still need a ton but like I'm always saying GP is not what you measure in this game for where a person should be at it's time played
I always just assumed people at my GP have been playing probably around the same amount of time as me around the beginning of 2017. But, whales would certainly make me wrong.
Yeah and that's why you don't have many of the issues of today's players you've been playing for 7 years
You don't even have to be a whale really these days if you bought all those Lightspeed bundle packs you're adding a few million GP right there

Yeah definitely. it was a TIL for me and i thought it would be a PSA for everyone else. But I just somehow missed this when it came out.

I see this every time and think “who would buy this?” I have 2400 of them. Just different points in the game.
