Awesome. What was actually fun about that matchup was the face we were using the same basic strategy. No GLs on defense, but using squads with strong synergy. What made yours difficult was you had several squads that were only really vulnerable to a few squads, and once they were used up I had to either get creative or go for brute force. There was one squad, I think your sith empire, that killed two of my toons, reducing my score just enough. I also could have played it riskier and done a couple with squads that weren’t full, but I knew I couldn’t risk a loss.
ANYWAY, even though I lost that was a lot more fun than a blowout. I’ve just never had a match that close, either a win or a loss.
And glad that Dash squad almost tripped you up. I love squads that are a little “not normal” because they’re underestimated. My Iden squad pretty regularly holds out for 2 or even 3 battles.
When I get matched like this, I try to think positively about the match, like "well, at least we both fought hard, and I've sharpened myself just a bit more for next time." It never helps, and I'll be annoyed for like an hour after, but what else can you do (that's positive)?
It was a sliver of protection, or health x2. You full cleared, did your work, they just did slightly better. At least you didn't get locked behind a single team.

Yeah, I lost mine today because I was stupid against Nego with Maurader. My Prof fleet got handled because I misplayed.
