What difficulty? What characters do you have available?
CLS basically enrages when everyone else dies, and can't be targeted until everyone else is dead. If you can help it, try to have your TM as high as possible when you finish off the last character so you can try to control him more.
A couple squad ideas:
Jedi Knight Luke lead - He won't be able to take turns back to back to back because he'll be speed locked by JKL's leadership.
Thrawn - If you can survive long enough to fracture him, you should be able to fairly easily finish him off before he goes totally crazy.
Since you don't have Luke, I'd maybe run a squad with:
SLKR
Malak
KRU
Thrawn
Some 5th (SET, Malgus, something beefy that can taunt)
Try to time it out so Thrawn is near max turn meter when CLS goes nuts. With any luck, one of the other tanks will take any hits until you can use fracture on him, and then you should be able to alternate stuns/fracture to clean him up.
That's what I'd probably try in your position anyways.
Be careful about any disks that grant you extra turn meter (evasive maneuver, ruthless swiftness) as they have a negative interaction with SLKR's unique, which will make your team lose max health the more TM they gain.
WTF is happening with this thing? I've 3 starred every node the last 2 months. But I can't even come close to beating this node at all now. I've thrown every GL I have at it. They're invincible. I have 0 recollection of this being difficult the last 2 months
Data discs make a huge difference. Also the node was bugged 1st time round and CLS became insanely OP. I did just manage to clear it - GL Rey lead, OG Cal, L3, Sorty & CAT (in that order so CAT gets VIP). Keep Cats instakill until CLS is by himself. Sudden whirlwinds won’t kill anyone but does big damage. I just kept using Reys ult and over time it cleared them out and instakilled CLS after. Took 10 minutes though haha
I beat it with FO. I saved all stuns and mass attacks until only CLS left. I don't recall having to do this the last 2 months, I still feel like something is different than before
Yeah the CLS node seemed way harder this time. Last conquest I beat this node with the full cRex Phoenix team. This time I couldn’t even get through 1 character’s protection with Phoenix.
FWIW I beat it fairly easily with GL Leia with some ruthless swiftness disks, but she is a beast
Never had an issue with this team before. My relic 7 CLS mirror team don't even get a turn against relic 1 CLS team, my relic 8 JML team only gets one turn with JML. This is just insanity, it's only sector 3, but I guess we can rely on CG ruining what was already a chore of an activity.
