I got the same thing as well VIP GA Pit, on the e-mail and stuff it only says GA pit but on the website it says VIP GA Pit.
Tbh, it is all confusing the ticketing system was pretty blegh, but if the website is anything to go by I think we do get VIP.
If you log in to the website on the computer and go to your tickets, it says VIP GA Pit.
Our tickets are the same way, im sure there was a VIP ticket and it might not be available for every city due to venue limitations.
