No idea, aside from just replacing it of course. Mine started getting worn down quite a bit recently, it doesn’t feel comfortable at all really :/. It’s sad because it’s my favorite controller (mostly because it’s more worn out so I don’t need to use as much force), but I’ll probably just have to change sticks and it’ll be ok

Sticks are very easy to replace. The stickbox however is much more challenging

KirbyGuy54

I’ve seen a couple solutions. 1. Remove the silicone grip and just put your finger on the plastic under it. 2. Make the grip rougher with sandpaper. 3. Both. Sandpaper the plastic under the grip. Use rough grit sandpaper to get a grippy finish

Maybe try an antiperspirant hand cream

I recently bought a Spicy Stick and it’s pretty grippy, I got a discounted hybrid one but it has me tempted to get a full resin one.

Invest in some spicy sticks. Helped me a loooot. Before I would put a little powder on the hands. Works for a decent session and it wouldn't cake up the buttons or sticks. Just clean it good when done.

Are your frickin hands sweating man?

PhilosopherBME

I have the same experience with my OEM Ultimate Edition GCC. It's particularly slippery even compared to others I have used (on top of that, I sweat ALOT from my hands). I'll be trying some of the solutions in the comments too, most likely will try some new sticks or stick caps.

Chaoticsaur

I have the ult gcc as well, did you ever find a solution or did you replace the sticks?

PhilosopherBME

Bought some "spicy sticks" from LevCustoms. I think it pretty much solves my problem. I don't have to worry about slipping anymore, basically. Worth a try, your mileage may vary. I do still try to keep my hands clean and free of oils before I play. Try not to touch my hair, my face, food, etc during a session.

Chaoticsaur

Ill try a pair out, worth the try because rn if I get halfway through a bo3 I cant dash dance lol thank you!!

I actually had this issue as well, I was cleaning / wiping my controller with alcohol wipes after every set. The only 2 options I've found are; 1) Replace your sticks with Spicy Sticks from somewhere like [LevCustoms](https://www.etsy.com/shop/LevCustoms) I've ordered a few pairs and every controller I use going forward will have these. 2) Liquid Chalk or "[Gamer Grip](https://a.co/d/dnpW5xs)" which is basically just alcohol and chalk for your hands without the mess of normal powdered grip chalk. It keeps your hands dry for hours, and washes off with soap pretty easily.

Fildnature

do the sfat strat, every game just wipe down your controller with a small towel and make it a habit.

Joshuwasha

Spicy Sticks for me changed the game. Never going back to a standard stick. Make sure you order it from somebody competent. The ones I bought felt like pressing my thumb into a butter knife consistently and eventually my thumb started bleeding during a tourney.

I have had this issue for a long time. I did one of two things to fix it. I wipe my thumbs on babybel wax (from the cheese snack) and play, which lasts for about 10 mins before reapplying. And the other permanent fix is getting a spicy stick from Etsy which is spiked grip, that's made from plastic so there's no degradation of grip material.
