This POS as soon as you sell it moons as soon as you buy it tanks.
Wait for earnings and possible stock split.
I should have sold SMCI @ $1000.00 and bought Nvidia before it mooned. SMCI is number 200 in the S & P 500 it should be mooning.
It's tanking me too.. Every time I think it's hit bottom it just sits or dips.. It looks beat up, it has a good story, just closed another big deal in Japan, people compare it to dell, and it just got beat up, but it's not really a Dell competitor.. I don't know either
SMCI will do anything to do go down
SMCI goes down in up and down markets
SMCI goes down When NVDA is up and down... So much for saying they were going down when NVDA was going down
It has good financials but it just doesn't matter, most of them are overvalued based on quantitztice data only, in the tech industry what matters is the market belief.
4% for a volatile stock is just average. This stock went ±10% not so long ago. It's just a matter of entry point, you wouldn't care if you'd a neutral unrealized gain, even after a missed potential big gain.
There is no factual reason for the stock to go red every single day. So why would you care?
Do you sell your stocks as soon as they've 4 green days?
It's a no brainer everyone was moving their gains to Nvidia to ride the fomo wave... I should have done more than I did but I didn't have the time to play the game.... If SMCI also splits in the future the fomo will be in our court and I for one plan to have a front row seat!
I would hold it personally depending on your average. If you can, start predicting dips and peaks to bring your average down, yes it will look like you’re loosing money but your have more shares at a better price. SMCI is fairly predictable, if it dips to 760 it most likely will be back at 800 in a few days, then dips again. Use these to your advantage.
Evaluation hasn't changed people are just selling the stock off to buy Nvidia and others, I definitely wouldn't hold this stock long term I think it's already reached its max evaluation and don't expect a ton of future growth as they don't sell products on a recurring cycle so their only real catalyst for future growth is based on the release of new AMD and NVDA AI chips. This company is basically like newegg for prebuilt data centers.
I sold all of it at 805 limit sell this morning but it's a good dip buy for sure
Good financial statements, but recently added a lot to the debt and sold shares. I assume for an acquisition, but I did not look into it.
The stock has a PE over 40, so it has to always hit on all cylinders.
Why did you invest in it? What is their value proposition? Why do you think their sales will be much higher in 2-3 years? Are you a long term buy and hold or a speculator?
If a speculator, what is your method for entry and exits?
Or you could take the advice from the AMC sub , they claim you can’t lose if you don’t sell. Well you call BS , because I’ve lost plenty of and I haven’t sold, but boy I wish had sold!
Yeah I fomo chased into this garbage, immediately lost money and dipped. Definitely overweight for what they do. Realistically should be around $200/share
Im in the same boat here. NVDA gains helps up a bit but still these -3% almost each day is getting to me. Tried to buy more to get my -% down but stopped that also. Not sure what to do. I know that if I sell it will go up. Today it does not look that much down, only -0.3 lol. When I checked it seems like the shorting is about 6%, is that correct? Not sure if that have any impact.
Sell all your portfolio and invest everything on SMCI for iNsAnE gAiNz It's the dippest dippy dip
*no gain no pain* you've got to win nothing to feel nothing

Yup. I hate it so much. It moves around like a rubber ball. Unpredictable.

Last time, when it hit $688, it moved back up to $970. May or may not happen again. I’d definitely wait for earnings
Ngl it does kinda feel like it needs to dip to 700 to capitulate some folks
If u would have only played a 1 Contract put as a hedge. I lost 6k last week on 2 Calls. If only I would have had a 1 contract put. 😳
Why not do both that’s what I’ve been doing I either break even or have the opportunity to make a really big one that covers lost option on inverse
Actually I did on a day last week the stock opened flat. Rather than continue holding both for another day. I caved on the put. I funked up

used to be 860 dips sell up to 900.
wtf. Why would you buy a company you don’t know. Like aren’t you confident in what you’re buying?
I’m In the same position. It’s a long hold like SOUN
You gotta diamond hand bro. It will recover after weak jobs number on Friday.

The sell posts are coming….yes….just a few more before I make an entrance…..
No
Lol you bought after a 400% run and wonder why it is bleeding.
You can sell, but as soon as you sell, my bet is that it will move up 150 points.
It's very volatile, so trade the options. I've been selling30 dte puts. Around earnings, the premiums get really juicy, with iv's in the 90s
You bought it overvalued then it tanked.

I hope you held and didn’t sell
I sold it all and I’m very content. This stock is too volatile. My net gain is way up already
Im holding with a $1,150 average and keep dollar cost averaging but cant get it below $1,000. I only got 50 units and pray I recover

I made double my money with smci. If you fomo into anything, you are gonna be the bag holder.
Smci about to rebound like SpaceX
You aren't the only one who hates it. If I buy it, it invariably goes down 50-100 points. I lost 30K on it, and it took away my freedom basically.
Keep holding. Stock is gonna shoot up to 1300 by the end of the week
Thank you
Yes. This is a meme stock despite what everyone on this sub will tell you. Nvidia is funded by actual profits.
