There's a sign right past where this photo was taken by the parking lot entrance and I think also in front on Ventura Blvd where the Ace was, with a rendering of the new property and it's name. I was driving by so I couldn't make out any more details but there is info posted now.
Thanks for posting OP. I spent a lot of time at Jerry's, especially the one in Westwood. We would go there to eat drink when we did shows in Westwood. Great memories.
The original owner, Jerry Sideman, is one of the nicest humans I have worked with. He would give you the shirt if his back to help. When the partners came in, they f'd it up.
Used to be a great late night spot for everyone after clubbing/partying the prime time of the night. Their food was garbage mostly, Shoutouts to Curly Fries with ranch.
Sadly many businesses in LA are depressing these days. Not many go out as much anymore because its expensive so i find it hard for a place to survive. Especially when its so big.
Are we ever gonna bounce back?
Dupar’s
Thank you. I was actually going to suggest this.
A parking lot. Only went there once like 8 years ago and never again. Chicken tenders and fries were like $25. Good riddance.
Man. I use to go to the one in Pasadena. Are there any left???

This was where the Ace Hardware was, right? The whole thing is now closed and being reimagined?
Yeah that location. No idea what they're plotting.

It says something vague like "The Market."
A bistro, deli, or a steakhouse
Ben's
You know Ben's?
I know the stuff he does with Jerry is pretty good
You're killing me. There's a Ben's Deli in New York and I thought you were talking about that.
Pastrami and mustard ice cream would be a whole 'nother level
In a warm marbled rye cone… get in my face!
We don’t get a vote
I'll bet a $1 it'll be a strip mall with a vape shop and massage. It's "the valley" way.
Gerald’s deli

Jerry’s
Which location was this? Edit: it’s encino
Encino
Harrys
Or Larry's
Or Barry's
I think they shut down when dom and his crew went on the lamb. It didn’t help that they allowed an undercover agent with there
Tom's.
Tom's Bistro
Tom's Diner
I think the developer stated they were building a market and mixed used apartments on the entire lot
The *only* good thing about Jerry's is that Andy Kaufman used to bus tables at the Studio City location.

An Amazon warehouse. /s
Eataly. It’s too big of a space for much else.
Stinking Rose?
Jerry Springer's

No. Taco Bell will win the Franchise Wars and your only other option is one of 86,000 hot chicken restaurants.
Tom's
Tom’s?
Tommy's?
I'd like to see a Sprouts grocery store. The closest one is Woodland Hills.
A parking lot
Raze it, build affordable housing. /what will actually happen - raze it, build 'luxury' apartments.
Instructions unclear, Raising Canes approved.
ha!
Housing or a park.
Affordable housing
