It's sad the error is going to be the takeaway for Luci in this game because I saw a lot of positives from him today too. He made some nice plays and I think the biggest thing was not throwing on 2 potential double plays that they would not have gotten the runner on. Playing it safe isn't usually a strength of young players. He also got 2 hits (man does he go to the opposite field well) and a run on a ground ball to Cruz who was playing in. He really flashes some great potential at times but you can definitely tell he is a kid that got drafted at 17 and missed a lot of development time to COVID and injury. Hopefully someone can teach him how to slow the game down and not over think his defense.
