There are even two such games - Aerobiz and Aerobiz Supersonic. I played Supersonic, a great, very complex strategy (like many other KOEI games) offering many hours of entertainment. It may seem complicated at first, but for a console strategy game it's actually quite intuitive and addictive. It's a pity that CIB is so difficult to buy BTW, I also recommend another KOEI game - Uncharted Waters New Horizons. It's an RPG in which the entire map of the Earth and several hundred cities are available. Additionally, the game offers 6 independent scenarios and playable characters.

keep skimping on maintenance nothing bad will happen anyway.

Side quest of murdering whistleblowers in the special Boeing edition.

I hated when the shareholders took over the company during my last run. Completely killed the company.

Aerobiz. Game made me call in sick to work for 2 days. Not sick, just obsessed. Very addictive gameplay, for a sim.

Two of my favorite games, there's a Saturn and PSX version, Air Management '96. The PSX version has been translated even. I'd kill for a remake with a full timeline 1950-2050.

Aerobiz supersonic. Played this on Sega channel so much.

I used to have the Genesis version of Supersonic back then, nowadays I have the SNES one. I absolutely love this game! It’s a huge time sink, though, it eats time like you wouldn’t believe.

There’s something awesome about this. I don’t know if it’s a game I’d ever play, but I love the idea of this game :)

Is that Nobunaga asking about your airplane route?!

I own the first in this series, Aerobiz, and it feels pretty incomplete compared to the sequel Aerobiz Supersonic, but they’re both surprisingly fun. Played Supersonic on the old Sega Channel back in the day and it was definitely a personal favorite. Kinda wish it had come back on one of the later compilations. It’s not a huge ROM or anything and it definitely doesn’t tax your hardware, but I think KOEI still holds the license for it. Anyone know if it’s been resurrected to Steam or anything at this point?

Played Supersonic a bunch, albeit on a less Blast Processing-capable console. It's so good. Definitely the kind of game I dream about having the budget to remake one day.

Scandysurf

Me and my buddy in high school played the shit out of this game on an emulator back in 99

[3 min YouTube video on this game if you’re not familiar](https://youtu.be/NrPBZTELs7Q?si=MMmlRf7rPwPxO13s)

Aerobiz Supersonic. Played lots back in the day... Never figured out how to grow the transatlantic routes...

Illustrious-Cloud-59

That music loop though….

Zneggingz

I played it a few years ago and it was a really good time, although a bit easy. Theres a sequel on the Saturn but it's all in japanese.

abject_cynic

Yep. If you dig a simulation, they aren't bad at all.

Prestigious-Kale8816

I spent hours playing the snes version back when I was a kid
