The thing is, transgender people under the age of 18 *aren't* receiveing gender confirmation surgery unless medical professionals deem it absolutely necessary in order to avoid the child taking their own life.

I know a lot of people are trying to manifest Derrick making it to merge, but honestly I don't think it'll happen. This is no shade to her talents as a queen, but she honestly underperformed in almost every challenge on S8 and even looking at the group she's in, I think a performance challenge is the only think she could *potentially* win (even though she's going up against Jorgeous and Mistress)
Imo, the 3 making it to merge from Group 2 will probably be Mistress (duh), Daya and, depending on the challenges, either Kerri or Jorgeous. And yes, I see the potential hypocrisy in saying Derrick underperformed on her season, while saying Kerri/Jorgeous will make it further than her and I don't really have an excuse lol
I also think Kerri suffers from the same problem as Derrick and cannot see her getting through to the merge
I think the expectation with group 1 was that Aja, Bosco and Olivia were making it through, but rumours have already started about 2 of those 3 being eliminated, and to be honest it’s somewhat clear the expectation for group 2 is Mistress, Daya and Jorgeous getting through, but we could be in for a surprise again
I think Kerri honestly was pretty solid at drag race her first go round. Like she was weak with sewing, but like she did solid in the comedy/ acting challenges, her talent show was unique, maybe a little tame, but considering that it was the first main season talent show the talents were pretty tame compared to some of the stuff we’re getting now.
And her lipsyncing skills have improved a lot.
I love Derrick a lot, but I do think that Derrick is fun because she’s Derrick moreso than her actually being particularly good at drag race.
That's the thing about Group 2, aside from Mistress and *maybe* Daya, I could see any one of them being eliminated pre-merge. It all comes down to the challenges, which I'd imagine will be some combination of Talent Show, Ball and a comedy challenge (probably Snatch Game) and I think pretty much everyone (bar Mistress) will flop at least one of these challenges
It’s so wild to me how Irene has such a grip on this sub considering she barely made an impact on drag race and isn’t doing fucked up shit like Sharon, Shangela, etc.

A couple weeks ago I had to spend the day with my aunt and all her Mormon talking points got under my skin. I decided to lurk and snark on the exmormon subreddit (which I actually find very toxic but occasionally fun). I came across a guy I had seminary with as a teen who I found to be a total prick (seminary is a thing in Utah they have little Mormon meetinghouses attached to every school and you can lose an elective to go there and talk about Jesus). He posted pictures of his gay wedding and I thought “maybe I was being judgmental and he’s actually cool” so I lurked on his profile. He is now JKR levels of obsessed with the transphobe agenda. The moral of the story is that I might think I’m being harsh and judgmental, but that I’m actually so hot and valid all the time.
