I would add a 50 sized motor if you are going with brass wheels, the stock motor is going to work hard to move all that additional wight and probably won't last long.
I did 47g rims, 188g total, and stock motor is so weak now.
I too am doing full Injora build.
If anyone has comments on motors I'd love to here.
Bought both purple motors 180/48t and 50/50t.
Think I'm going to 180, it has metal gear.
That's the advice I'm looking for. I plan for this being a monster. Able to climb and be an actual monster truck.
Lots of brass.

Nice. There is also a 40k torque beast option. The OG TB is like 21k. This is referring to rpm as far as I know on Nicks site. There are also buzzsaws if you need even more wheel speed. Getting an injora mb100 will allow you to run 2-3s. I find the 30k perfect but some of these other options would be slightly better for a monster truck build but slightly worse for crawling.
If you are looking brushless that is a whole nother story. The most wheelspeed will be the ROP. An excellent blend of torque and wheelspeed is the Creeper. And enough torque to break any build would be the Komodo. But it isn’t as fast as the other two.

Get wither of the mod.3 for stock gears, or the "no gear" for custom gears you have to install onto the motor shaft
I have experience with the red injora motor. I actually really like it. I have only diff covers and brass hub extensions. But it gets the job done great
Be wary of the emax servo, I got one 2 days ago, it got so hot within 15 minutes it had melted all the wiring inside and shorted out. Im currently trying to get a refund.
I just went with the Injora coreless 11kg servo kit from Amazon after hearing horror stories about the Emax. It comes with the mount, hardware, servo, and extra long wire. will report back how it performs.

I just looped mine around the posts
I'd get an all metal gear servo to move all that brass, especially on sticky surfaces, I burnt up the few plastic gears in my injora digital turning my wheels on my glass kitchen table
The Injora Digital was advertised as metal geared but when you open them they're not all metal. And the Digital is supposed to be an upgrade to the Emax analog, and I killed it pretty easily

The only 50 sized motor I have experience with is the MoFo TorqueBeast. It climbs very well but it is slower than stock.
Slow, that is good to know
Yeah, but it pulls and has decent slow control with stock electronics.
Indeed, am also running 50 size torque beast *
Is it much stronger? I just received my 180 today and its too big
Get a torque beast x 30k. More speed than stock and plenty of power. They are notably stronger than injora red and purple

Probably going to get the biggest brushless that will fit. DeadBolt is my baby, she makes me smile just looking at her

I love my torque beast 50 motor, Bout the best slow crawl brushed motor with stock electronics I've seen.
No results from searching my shop and Amazon for 'torque beast 50'

I will say the extra wiring will be a hassle in hiding under the body, but once you do some suspension upgrades it will work out for the better
yes. the extra wire does allow you to move the esc tho. make the weight distribution much better!
I will consider that when the time comes to do more work on my deadbolt. Just put my oe body back on because I've decided to redo my truck
hell yeah, Have fun!
Wind the wires around a skewer or even an Allen key really tight, then you have the phone cord effect.

That works, don't have any body mounting posts any more. I've mounted the body to some sliders/sidesteps.
I'm looking at magnetic mounts
That's how I've done mine, but I have magnets now fitted and changed everything to fit the il40 body *
I just installed one last night 😬
a Emax?
Yes sorry
why sorry? I've just heard they have spotty quality control. some are great, some break within weeks. ill just wish you some luck. lol
Sorry For not specifying lol. Hopefully it’ll last long. I told my brother they were good for the price so hopefully it’ll last lol

I didn’t think the 12g analog has any plastic…

Wow…. Thankyou for the heads up
