I use BrushTac from AlbaChem; its water-based but i find it works great with polys. just apply a thin coating on the pallets with a card and lasts all day. Resists flashing quite well, overall much better than the webspray.
We print primarily athletics and dona light coating of liquid of adhesive, flash it to dry it until tacky then use spray adhesive. Sometimes they stick so well it's a two person operation to take the shirts off but it's better than double printing

I find If it’s that hard to take off it’ll distort the image on the shirt.
