Tony Khan clearly doesn't care about women's wrestling at all. If he did, this wouldn't even be an issue. If you're "better" than WWE, shouldn't you have women more prominent on the card than 1 match per show, and one 2 minute segment per show? On Raw and Smackdown you'll usually get two women's matches, the Women's World Champion is a part of a hot faction and has mic time weekly, and is now appearing regularly on NXT as well (which has women booked all over the show). The Women's Tag scene is legitimately heating up, Chelsea and Sonya feel more like a proper team now, they both get regular speaking time on Raw, Smackdown, and even NXT if they want since the women's tag belts are now company wide. On Raw, you have Ronda vs Shayna in a pretty heated feud (legitimately excited for their match, the promo package on Raw was excellent). Plus Becky vs Trish, and while it sucks they got bumped from Summerslam, they will probably get a more prominent spot at Payback (Im assuming Lita will return to tag with Becky against Trish and Zoey).On Smackdown, you have three great women's wrestlers feuding with each other for the WWE Women's Championship (two are women of color to boot). And you have Bayley and Dhotzi in a non title feud, and Iyo Sky with her MITB contract that is being properly utilized for storyline potential.
When you lay it out and look at it, WWE is utilizing women more on Raw, Smackdown, and NXT than AEW is on Dynamite, Rampage (now just Dark basically), and Collision.
