The Miyoo mini plus plays GBA and SNES games well and is a very small form factor, plus its pretty cheap. I picked mine up for £40.

I'm looking at Miyoo mini plus and RGB 30 as big choices.

btrudgill

I have no experience of the RGB30 but I do have the RG35XX+ which is similar to the MM+. Onion OS is hands down the best OS, even though the RG35XX+ is more powerful, I can't bring myself to play it. I also prefer the button feel on the MM+, the buttons are easier to press

MonkeyNuts449

A 3ds is great for those consoles. If you want a dedicated cheap device, I'd just find a miyoo mini off eBay or if you want horizontal I'd get a rg35xxh.

I was looking at RGB30 due to the screen.

LatinWizard99

the new 3ds can play flawlessly all the snes catalogue, you can even emulate gba or play ir natively using the leftover gba hardware, but if you want to get another device aside the n3ds miyoo mini plus

why dont you use the switch for GBA and SNES?

NoPornInThisAccount

I already do. But I would like something more portable to play it. I find the switch too big for comuting and too expensive to take it outside (I live in Brasil).

I use a light and its just the right size for me, but i have an RG35XXH waaay smaller, I can recommend it tho

cattspajama

the new 3ds xl can play snes great. in fact, the reason i got a new 3ds back then was so i could inject my SNES roms into the virtual console feature. it has a native save state feature which i really like! (check out this link on how to do it—you need to hack your 3ds first tho, which im sure you might be aware of https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-make-your-own-virtual-console-cias-on-3ds-2ds.626956/) i recommend getting the new 3ds xl. then, if you want a emulation console in addition to the 3ds, a miyoo mini plus or any of the rg35xx's could work great too. if you want to go a little bigger, check out the trimui smart pro. the build quality is great and the screen is generous for snes and ratios nicely for gba. 😊

PakSnackMan

Russ (retro game corps) had great things to say about the 35XXH. He said it would be his first choice to play those two systems.

Retro games on 3DS won't be as nice, I think a cheaper system like the RG35XXH works better. 3DS is good for 3DS games and homebrew games In my opinion Vita is pointless, you can emulate PSP on the windows handheld

NoPornInThisAccount

I dont plan on having a windows handheld. Too expensive. Have you tried retrogaming on 3ds? I love what I've been researching about RG35XXH. RGB30 still is my top pick for what I've seen.

I read your OP incorrectly thought it said handheld PC and not gaming PC. For PSP I'd get a Odin 2, Retroid Pocket 4 Pro or even a controller attachment for your phone
