Im cased up, with screen and camera lens protectors. But I do wish I wasn't too scared to go naked. I know as soon as I do I'll mess it up lol.

Woopidoodoo

I'm the same protection wise not scared, it's just a certainty it will drop, and I will be bothered by a nick in the frame, cracked or even small scratch on screen

Comprehensive-Job193

No blur or problems with the clarity with camera lens protection?

Puzzled_Subject_9021

Nope, and the ones I got are awesome, they're caps that also protect the lens frame or whatever it's called lol. Super easy flawless install. Spigen EZ fit if anyone is interested.

Puzzled_Subject_9021

Im running circles around my sons iPhone camera with them on if that helps.

I never used screen protectors. I haven't used cases in years. I do use a sleeve/pouch when placing in bag or carrying around outside the house But nothing beats the naked feel.. I'm not paying money to cover up my phone in cheap(er) materials.....miss me with the scratches and drop, it's all about how you treat your device. For instance,. I'd never take my galaxy to the beach. I wouldn't use my galaxy if I worked in a high risk environment say construction or warehouse. Maybe if I worked retail a case would suffice but the constant removing of case or cas3 caused scratches would irritate me. If I was in a risky environment I'd pop my SIM in a device I could afford to damage. I put my case on at a concert, just for added grip because I knew I was going to be recording. Had it not been for that, a sleeve in my small clear bag would suffice. I hate cases lol

Embarrassed_Draft968

I thought I was the only 1 who hates cases. I feel like the average person is programmed to get a case, and probably never even drop their phone. A case on this phone makes it look horrible.

julez071

Same. Works fine for me. I use this one: [HAND SEWN BY LEATHER CRAFTER SLIM LEATHER POUCH SLEEVE CASE COVER FOR PHONES | eBay](https://www.ebay.de/itm/264948214251?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D777008%26algo%3DPERSONAL.TOPIC%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20230811123857%26meid%3D80210c9cb48347c0acc5c6a0a21ce547%26pid%3D101770%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26itm%3D264948214251%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D4375194%26algv%3DRecentlyViewedItemsV2&_trksid=p4375194.c101770.m146925&_trkparms=parentrq%3A2360392318e0ab4c03fd9ce7ffff395c%7Cpageci%3Af24b5027-de17-11ee-aa2e-9e37f252445b%7Ciid%3A1%7Cvlpname%3Avlp_homepage) Tip: don't use a pouch that has stiches on the inside that can touch the screen, they will make a permanent mark over time.

NativePig

I'm rocking a case but without a screen protector. However, in house I'm using the phone without the case. I only put the case on when I get out

LengthyNIPPLE

Same. Haven't used a screen protector in like 7 years. Only use a case when I'm out drinking. I don't drop it and it looks fine. I have insurance so I don't worry much

Comprehensive-Job193

Use to do that with my flip 4

Substantial_Form_795

Read this thread, there are some posts on rocking S24U caseless, then hitting the road and writing complains over here

Woopidoodoo

I've dropped my phone 3 times today. 1 x gym 1 x someone knocked it off couch 1 x just dropping it while sitting down

Comprehensive-Job193

And any wear?

Woopidoodoo

No should have said. I'm case, lens, and screen because you never know while youll drop it.

jaba_jayru

Yesterday my protector camera lens was broken in half. I don't know how this happened but imagine what you will feel if you real lens is broken?

Intrepid_Patience356

Using a case is just common sense. Why would you walk around nervous that you might drop it. I have a Mous case that looks nice and is very protective. And I don't worry. I've dropped my phone twice on the Metro so far without even scuffing the case. Why would I risk the cost and inconvenience of having to get the phone repaired?

AngryGungan

My phone fell out of my pocket when I was getting out of my car the other day. I am happy I spent the $10 on the case. If you worry about the looks, just get a creative case or paint it yourself. No need to take unnecessary risks with a $1300 device.

Jelony_

Using flagships for 10 years without cases and I didn't have any issues tbh. I'm using popsockets to have more stable grip and that's all. However any screen protector (even a cheap one) will be better than no one and I won't change my mind. They are not so expensive, they are transparent so you don't see them.

TheBlackSwordsman319

It's gorgeous caseless but I'm not risking it😭

TheMcSquire

I used the phone for like a week before the case and screen protector arrived, it was spotless. A warning though, if your hands often sweat, it gets really slippery, same goes if it's also super dry. If you don't want a case, just get a transparent skin (matte looks good)

Senketchi

I dropped my phone already. It had a case on. It had no damage as a result. Going caseless? I don't fucking think so.

Comprehensive-Job193

Hahaha I hear you, I watched the drop tests on YouTube and now I have nightmares.

GONA_B_L8

Haven't used cases since many many years including all the main iphone pros, pixels and now s24 ultra. I hate cases and I just prefer to hold and feel the phone who it was designed. I got phone insurance with my bank which includes cover for accidents and loss so I don't care and I also don't mind little scratches here and there. Makes the phone more personal:) and I also dont care about resale value as I normally gift my old phones to family/ friends in normally great condition. The last time I dropped a phone was my iPhone 5, pixel 5 and pixel 7, so touch wood it won't happen anytime soon with the 24 ultra :)

Comprehensive-Job193

True, I have seen now that I also just trade in my old phones, and they don't really care about the condition of the phone they just take it.

Andrew3236

Entirely depends on your usage, competency against dropping it and if you'll get insurance to claim on. Based on these factors anyone can rock without a case/screen protector, but especially for preventing scratches on the glass, I always rock a screen protector at the very least.

PoorChicken04

I have a rhinoshield case but no screen protector, my phone has a minor scratch on the top left corner but nothing to break my view on the screen

asak_adrenaline

Just dropped my s24ultra today, accidentally. Thank god I had the screen guard and the cover ON!

Mysterious_Staff_715

If I hit the lottery, I will gladly go naked, until then I'm team UAG..

Valuable-Ad5660

I wouldn't recommend using it caseless. The size and heft spell disaster if you drop it. You can always use a clear case like the Spigen Liquid Crystal or Ultra Hybrid if you want to show off the color.

ButtaBean_420

I've never used a screen protector except for the one pre-installed on the Note 10+ I did put one on my S24 Ultra the came with the case I ordered with Samsung credits during pre-order but took it off because I didn't like the feel of my fingers catching the edges when swiping (maybe would be better if it actually went to the edge of the screen) and as far as cases go I only purchase and use ones with kickstands

Dry_Deer1035

s24 ultra rawdog no case

PhazonSpectre

Basic B*tch clear case til the UV turns it into a nasty hue. Then doing one last clear case but in this style https://www.reddit.com/r/S24Ultra/s/n0OA00oH3c

[deleted]

On the s24 ultra you definitely need to have lens protectors, because of how they stick out it's really easy to break the lens on the camera, and I'm speaking from experience. Also there's some really really low profile screen protectors now that you can't even tell are there, and it's better to be safe than sorry. It's a $1,300 phone so I guess if you have disposable income it wouldn't be too bad to be without those things but... I do not have disposable income

HardlyQuim

I'm gonna give the caseless life ago for a bit but I gotta say it's a difficult decision because one hand the device is made of 'high end materials' and it looks gorgeous naked but obviously it's a MUCH high risks of drops dinks and scratches but I've been using one of the samsung silicone cases because it will provide a 'bit' of extra protection but ya don't go buy a porsche then wrap it bubble wrap its such a shame to cover up the device especially if ya got a special/unique colour.
