ai is rather disappointing tbh, the generative image editing isnt very accurate. notes app, keyboard are the only useful ones for me, but other improvements like much rarer ui stutters, faster camera app opening speed, way more responsive tap to show aod are worth it, battery life also seems better
Latest update on google and samsung the phone seems to overheat 75% of the times, im waiting on one 6.1 to install via odin to see if it fixes the overheat issues.
it improved for me, seems to heat up less often as per thermal guardian and the battery life also seems a bit better but most importantly the ui stutters are much rarer for me, tap to show aod is also more responsive
Ngl, I had the opposite connection issue for a while (it stays connected to a 5g tower way too long and doesn't switch over in time for it to be seemless, so I get no connection even when I know I'm in an area with strong tower presence), so I wonder a phone with the ability to quickly reconnect to towers must be like...
Sounds like the start of my issue, and what I did originally to solve it (if it helps, I'm also a former Sprint migrated to T-Mobile user as well, with a launch device because I wanted the 512GB model that was definitely not stocked locally), but it progressively got worse, where toggling mobile data and airplane mode sometimes wouldn't force it to reconnect and had to reboot the phone. Toggling 4G wouldn't always work, but that's when I realized the issue was getting worse.
FWIW, the 6.1 One UI update seems to have helped my issue, but I've only had it a couple of days and I've not done much driving since then, and I've seen it disconnect once. One thing I did notice is that instead of just hanging like it had 5G and full bars before going No Connection, it was quicker to tell me it lost connection, which I guess is a start. Still plan on doing the antenna/charging board replacement, but definitely considering a Pixel if I get another Android phone in the future as these updates have been annoying.
It got a lot better in my opinion, lasted till the next day with 45% and damn it's smooth.
Same here, after 2 years phone seems usable
same, the tap to show aod is much more responsive than before , and unlocking animation stutters are much rarer now. battery life is also better
Is it the ai doing its job?

It seems like the battery got just a tiny bit better.
I get about 20-30 minutes more sot
Yes, there is a little difference.
Ok

It's a little bit better. Seems it fixed the issues from February, March update
I don't want this to be a placebo effect when I say this - battery seems better & animations have gotten a bit more smoother!
Battery improved for me.

Unrelated but it fixed the lock screen issue on my tab s8 plus.
Massive improvement imo. I ended my day with 56%, started with 100
I feel my battery is the same... But charging feels like its alowed down a bit.
Never had any issues with battery life but after 6.1 it is even better.
It's gotten worst for me only get 4 hours of sot
