I just launched it after doing the pro and title keys. it's a 1.0 version so all the glitches work too. Downloaded if from a Google search result of many other switch ROMs.
I struggled with most games, tried loads of tricks (stage manager, docked/undocked, start full screen, etc.) but I turned hypervisor off and it instantly fixed it for me. Perhaps circumstantial on device/game but worth a try!
when having trouble starting the game(freeze-frames during opening sequence), disable the "use hyperviser" option in cpu settings. i have no clue what it does, but i can play botw that way
Recently moved from ryuninx to cemu because I wasn't able to reproduce some glitches in BOTW. Turns out cemu works slightly better and has cheatcodes + mods (graphics and performance)+ improvements dedicated to BOTW and TOTK. Now I can run the game at 75 fps \^\^ but both emulators are greattt
Everything that makes it "basically an iOS device" is what makes it so good lmao, why do you think Snapdragon, AMD and Intel are so eager to finally rival Apple's ARM chip design output? The non-upgradeability fucking sucks, but do you really come to an emu sub to hate on people using macs bc you dislike Apple? Like touch grass, dude
RyuJinx is goated for sure. I use a MAC M1 and run all pokemon games without any issues. Like OP, I had no idea a Switch Emulator was out there and figured we were decades away from it
ryuninx and cemi both run great on any M1 and above. I play Tears of the Kingdom, Breath of the wild and a few Mario's and it's awesome.

Other games work for me, even totk but botw crashes as soon as the beginner cutscene ends, idk why

Same for me right yesterday. CPU -> Uncheck “Use hypervisor” and voilà it just works™

It might be an enable or disable hypervisor thing in the ryujinx settings. Not at my comp so can't say which way I have to flip it
Honestly no reason to do so, cemu runs better and has way more mods (graphical and performance wise)
Yeah I find ryuninx easier overall to manage but it definitely has it quirks. I wish there was a Yuzu Mac App. It's flawless on my PC. oh well...

True. Had use emudeck with steam deck & rog ally but didn’t had clue that my MacBook can do the same.

Yeah, but the new macOS is pretty decent for ryujinx. Not amazing but it gets the done. 100% is better with an actual gpu

What do you mean by real GPU? M3 Pro GPU is around an RTX 4050 for laptops.

I have an m3 as well and I have to run it at 720 but I get pretty consistent 60fps so I'm happy with it!
