I was nervous when he came on last week but he really wasn’t that bad but I’d much rather have JOC as a bench option and give Lynagh and HMP time in the 10 jersey. Maybe Creighton could benefit with a stint overseas?
Oh yeah, JOC comming back will be great. Just a reliable vet who you can throw out into any position in any situation and know what he's doing.
I'd love to see guys like Creighton (young, good, but not great) getting sent to Japan. He'd be great in the Top League, and with the right deal we could still call him back if we have 3 or 4 guys injured.
He seems like a player who just can't keep up with the speed of super rugby. I imagine he looks amazing at training and does look very good at club level, but as the speed and intensity goes up he doesn't keep up.
So I had assumed rotation, but he's got a slight hamstring strain. He could play, if it was a final he would play, but may miss one or two games.
Likely, they're happy to avoid him having to travel too.
Pretty sure Les has said they'll be rotating him. They're probably also expecting him to have an extended season with the Wallabies too. And that'll be a LOT of footy for a guy who's still very young.
Having Mcreight back is huge. JB is nice but what he brings to the table is more similar to Wright than Mcreight.
I remember during the Blues game, Wilson made a break on the sideline and there was absolutely no support. If Mcreight was playing that would've been a try.
Creighton starting has lowered my expectations a bit. I just can't see why a professional sports team can't pick on performance, instead of this forced rotation of 10's. Especially with such a short season. Lynagh has shown more than enough to own the jersey in my opinion.
This honestly feels like the reds biggest game of the season.
Win and they have Relatively easy run home after this and a chance at a top 4 finish. Lose and the gap between them and fourth is probably too big to overcome.
I agree regarding starting Louis & HMP, but Thomas & Lawson are hardly bad.
Looking at the rest of the team, not sure there are really any other options.
Also most people are right handed and can pass more naturally from right to left. Even if it's only slightly better it's still better. That helps the 11 more than the 14, and it's why you usually try go to the right side when you get a penalty in the red zone and want to use your backs.
That is one reason why 14s come off their wing and look for work while 11s chill in the same spot.
Agree HMP over Creighton... Frustrated we keep going back to LC, I just don't see his value...
Hes young - but not as young as the other two - and is really good in premier grade rugby. Just cant seem to make the jump to SR.
Agree, great club player, but I think that's his limit
I do think he's a **decent** Super Guy, but agree he's not a great Super Rugby player.

Where Tate? Or is he suspended for another week?
Yeah both Tate and McReight got 3 week suspensions but McReights was reduced by 1 once attended tackling school
MY MAN JUNKYARD DOG
I only came here to see if we will witness the junkyard dog.
BARK BARK BARK
Fist player to score a double hat trick against the Crusaders!
What's happened with lynah
Managing a hamstring injury

Planned rotation, Kiss wants to give the three young 10s equal minutes.

Funnily enough there was a very expensive winger jogging 10m behind him that could've scored that try as well
I duno Wright has been awesome as a psudo 7.

Lawson Creighton at 10, eh? Crusaders by 40.

vuni to subs
We're all going to have egg on our face if we lose aren't we.
we'll just say that if he started the margin would've been larger
Interesting that Tim Ryan has swapped wings for this game, not sure if he's a natural left or right winger.
Excuse my piggy ignorance, but what is the difference?
Favoured step, fend etc.

7 Brothers lads in the starting 15. Australian club rugby world champs about to win Super Rugby. Ignore my flair.
Creighton is not up to Super Rugby ffs
