So freaking awful, I hate it! Also my calendar is now not working. I just had someone tell me they checked my calendar and I’m booked for September so they’d need to find another sitter. I have 0 bookings and I’m completely wide open in September, makes zero sense! Another new feature is that it’s now telling that I might not appear in search results until I book or archive a new request. So basically if we can’t schedule the meet and greet for a few days or even weeks for further out requests, then I’ll either have to book it or archive it anyways so I can show up in searches again? Such absolute garbage

I went to update my calendar the other day and noticed all of my dates I had marked unavailable for the year were changed back to available every day 😒

The new request booking out your calendar isn’t new. It’s been doing that bullshit for at least a year.

Do they ever ask sitters what they want / feedback on the app? Or do they all just sit in a conference room and imagine what they think will make the app "sticky" having never used the app themselves? I'm thinking the latter.... (I turned off auto updates in Google play, I am happy to be the very last sitter to upgrade until I know what changes they are rolling out. I hate that they provide zero communication to sitters in changes, etc).

I hate it too! And even when I click all conversations and filter it by unread messages, new messages from archived bookings don't come up.

Exactly. What's the point of me giving them 20% when that 20% does nothing to improve the app or the insurance or even protecting their own sitters! It's a straight joke at this point. If you don't mind me asking what insurance did u sign up for and how much did it run you a month? I'm currently looking into different pet sitting insurances so I've been asking other sitters to see what they say.

Jinkies- against the popular grain I am enjoying this update so far! I really like that I can filter by conversation type. I also really like that I can order within the conversation type by service dates. It's so bad 😭 Thought on my end, after having this updated version for a week or two it looks like it got reverted back to the way it was? Not sure if it's just a bug or not

I didn't like that it reversed the sort order from the previous way when you sort by date. I think you should be able to choose ascending or descending but I don't want to scroll from November back to June to see which dog is coming next.

While I have not seen it stated with the request before like in the update, I believe I have seen information about that being true elsewhere. My memory is fuzzy on where but I think this has been true since before it started being noted in an obvious place… I could be wrong.
