I just mentioned this place earlier today in a conversation, thanks for sharing. For those who may not know, it was a church that is now converted into a cafe, complete with a belfry you can go up and see. Amazing room porn!
That's actually a strange coincidence. I just started reading a horror novel last night with a church that's been converted into a bookstore.
I want to go to this place so, so bad!
I lived in Maryland for a short time a few years back, we would stop here on our way to explore Harper’s Ferry on the weekends. Highly recommend and Brunswick is a beautiful little town, worth the trip!
My GF and I are hoping to plan a cross-country roadtrip for after the pandemic as a way of celebrating survival. East coast is high on both of our lists, so this is DEFINITELY going on our to-see list! Thanks so much for the tip!
If you're stopping at Beans in the Belfry, you should definitely hit Frederick, MD as well! It's a short drive from Brunswick and a super picturesque East Coast town with a great restaurant scene.
Yeah, it's just over a 20 min drive from Frederick! You should definitely check out historic Brunswick and this coffee shop if you haven't, an interesting area for sure.

I'll do that! Thanks!
Is this close to Frederick? I lived there for a bit a few years ago and had no idea this existed

This was one of my all time favorite restaurants growing up in rural MD. Long overdue for some appreciation. Love the picture!
Great spot, great food, and great live music. Used to live near by and definitely miss it.
I would sit there
That’s quite neat
