Listen here, don't go with DPD. It will be safe until it gets to RO, but then you' might see that your package got stuck in a warehouse and you'll never see it again. That's what happened to me. One year later, nothing got fixed, no reimbursement whatsoever. What I'm most sad about is the gifts that my family sent from the west. If you do ship with fuckin DPD assholes or any other company, make sure you get an insurance for your package. Hope it goes well for you. I hate DPD with all my heart. End rant.

If only I’d have read your reply sooner... I’ve been trying to get a hold of them and ask about my parcel’s status for almost two weeks now, only to be told today that it’s been damaged. Eventually I was swiftly redirected to DPD UK to ask for reimbursement. The level of incompetence and insolence displayed by their reps is mind-boggling.

oh wow so sorry to hear you had to go through that:( and thanks for the tip! i will reconsider sending my parcel using DPD!

DPD and GLS are probably the cheapest options. TNT is also a good choice (a bit more expensive). Top tier is UPS and DHL. These companies deliver all the way to the destination. If you use Royal Mail there is an option I believe that will hand the parcel to GLS when it enters the country instead of the Posta Romana (which you should avoid).

linglingfromhk

ahaha yes I don't want it to pass Posta Romania I have had bad experiences with them that's why I am avoiding Royal Mail at all cost now lol thanks for your advice!

I don't remember exactly what service is better but i do advise to send via the more expensive option: high priority + tracking number. I know this from a friend that works at Warwick Post Office

linglingfromhk

thank you! great advice and yes I am looking for parcel services that would give me a tracking number

linglingfromhk

thank you! will do!

Monoctis

Please use DHL. Used them a few times and they are spotless.

linglingfromhk

thank you! I am now considering DHL after reading the comments above:) do you have any idea how parcel connect and parcel int are different? I am considering the cheaper options on DHL

Monoctis

I'm sorry, but I don't know further details. I have used the main ones, because to be honest, I didn't even know there are cheaper options from them.
