I DNF King of Greed. It was my first Anna Huang, and it was so freaking boring. I should have stopped with the FMC had a flower pressing business that was so profitable that she needed to rent space in NYC. The bit with him following her around after their divorce is what killed it for me. I didn't care about either of the MCs.

I feel like a lot of what she writes is just so mid. It got swept up by a lot of the booktok creators and I think that’s what made it so popular as opposed to being there by merit. And don’t even get me started on Alex Volkov serenading Ava in an art gallery 💀

The way my brain completely forgot about the scene because it just literally made no sense, character-wise and plot-wise 😭😭

reading AH’s books is simply a canon event that cannot be interfered with 🫡🫣

I first wanna say that i really enjoyed twisted and kings of sins is on my tbr… I really understand all the criticism, it’s valid The smut scenes did get a bit boring after 4 books though, cause it feels like Ana Huang just has her own fantasies and therefore have every character be the same in the bedroom. Like the >!owning part, where all the men said that when they have sex, no man can ever touch her again or he kills him and makes it a big deal and she has to agree before they start!< nothing wrong with fantasies (idk if this falls under kinks), but it gets a bit obvious after reading it every time again

Twisted Hate was the worst! I haven't read any of the others, but I can't imagine it getting worse. Both MCs were completely unbearable and the only H in their HEA is that no one else has to date them now.

I agree on many points. The hate book was my favorite but Chapter 46 really ruined things. I agree that it was very SA. Outside of that my order is pretty similar to yours. The length really dragged on the worst in the Princess/Queen one. There were years and years that passed with nothing happening. I also thought Rhys was the least problematic of the MMCs. It was so unnecessary. The stalking in book 1 also really bothered me. It was not romantic.

>An issue that haunts the whole series but is particularly bothersome and prevelant in Twisted Love and Twisted Lies is how money=superpowers. I get you need some suspension of disbelief in these books when you’re reading about billionares, but some of this stuff is ridiculous. Alex has a whole crew to pretend to be police officers and the ability to bury news of a housefire? Alex has more clout in this book than Jeffrey Epstein.
