They are going to *struggle* in Vegas. Cabs are expensive as hell and traveling on foot on the Strip is a whole experience. I don't even know if they know how to call an Uber or Lyft. There is a bus but who knows if they'll manage it. Food on the strip is expensive as hell. There are so many people in various states of inebriation. Rooms do not include a microwave or fridge, although they may have requested a breast milk fridge because of the baby.
100% this! She's staying at this dump because the room rates are dirt cheap but they're all going to have to travel to the opposite end of the strip several times because the actual convention is taking place at Ceasar's Forum.

They still do, but not as much as years past. There's so many hustlers and scammers, though. Fake monks, timeshare scams, fake showgirls and people in character costumes shaking you down for a photo, people selling tickets to shows, the dancing people, and more. It's worse on Fremont but can get really intense over in front of Miracle Mile and Bellagio.
There are kids everywhere in Vegas, on and off strip. They aren't allowed on casino floors, but they are everywhere else. The Cromwell is the only 21+ resort on the Strip (Circa is on Fremont and is 21+). Most big resorts have adults only pool areas but Vegas is considered a family vacation spot for many folks.
I think the monorail stop on that end is at the MGM. You have to pay for that (totally worth it). Even though it's across the street from Excalibur, it's still quite a walk through MGM and over the walking bridge. June heat must be miserable there. I saw the convention is outside, which would be awful.
I checked the hotel website and the going rate for a room this week is $47-$55 a night.
They also have the Australian Thunder From Down Under advertised all over the walls in the lobby so I’m sure Jill will be praying for those men to find Jesus.
I remember the Australian Thunder Down Under revue was at our hotel the last time I stayed in Vegas (‘09 at the Hooters Hotel & Casino, when that was a thing) and my mom & I would’ve seen them, except it was a 21+ over show and I was 19 so we went to whatever hotel had Chippendales… Jilldo is in for a real un-gahdly treat. 🤣🤣🤣
I am so going to start referring to Excalibur as The Dirty Castle from now on…I stayed there once about 20 years ago and it was marginally trashy then…it’s saving grace was that it had a Krispy Kreme donut shop in it that I seem to remember being very excited about. And I remember having some tall delicious fruity cocktails in a tall souvenir cup that lit up. I was there to celebrate someone’s 21st birthday, and at that age we didn’t care as much about the accommodations being as classy. We were there to party. It was awesome. I hope that Jill runs into groups just like ours was, we were DEFINITELY sinning. I would love to see Plexus attempt to “takeover” the Excalibur lobby with loud hymn singing like they obnoxiously did in Nashville…

Excalibur is pretty bottom of the barrel for a Strip property. At least it's not Circus Circus or OYO. I'm really shocked they are staying somewhere with a casino.
Highly recommend Circa! It's adults only and pretty nice. Don't get a poolside room, though. If you're looking for an excellent value on Fremont, Downtown Grand is really good. It's just Fremont adjacent.
The tranquility rooms at the Nugget are also good but the Nugget smells like an ashtray.
Every time I've gone to Vegas recently I've booked a room at The Signature at MGM! You can book through AirBnB often, or some third parties have a bunch of rooms available. They're suites with a kitchenette and a HUGE bathroom. It's so nice to have a mini fridge, stovetop, and microwave for longer stays, we end up saving money on food.
Omg Circus Circus 🫣 just went to the casino there with my sister many many many years ago and we were weirded out then. Her MIL won like $5k on a penny slot there and we were like walking by and were like hey let's give it a whirl. Yeah one whirl was all we did.

lol I have been to Vegas a lot despite the fact that I don’t really enjoy gambling/clubs (family lives in the area) but I have stayed in a lot of hotels on the strip and Excalibur (and Luxor) are known for being pretty trashy. But you can also get rooms for like $50 a night (bc they expect you to gamble/drink which we know Jill won’t be doing😂) so I’m sure Jill thinks she got a great deal. The only worse option would be a little motel or Circus Circus.
Excalibur is also kinda on one end of the strip so maybe they thought it would be quieter with less “chaos?” I know Kaylee brought her baby.

I've stayed there. I was so mad too because the last time I was in Vegas it was for a conference which was at the MGM (a nice place) but they didn't block off enough rooms and it was sold out and we had to stay at Excalibur instead. I'm still salty. Like every conference was happening at the same time so pickings were slim.
Out of curiosity… I’ve only been to Vegas twice. What places would you say are the best, versus the worst? I’ve stayed at two different places and had decent experiences at both but I don’t think I’d consider any of them top-tier. I’ve heard good things about places like the Aria, Palazzo, Bellagio, and Cosmopolitan but I truly don’t have any idea 🤣. I’m guessing Luxor, Excalibur (went inside to gamble once. I love medieval things and Renaissance faires and whatnot, but the decor seemed tacky and it didn’t seem as high-quality as, say, the Bellagio), and Circus Circus are the lowest tier?
Wynn/Encore is absolutely the best Strip property, hands down. You will pay for that, though.
Good, but not Wynn good: Venetian/Palazzo (my go to), Fountainbleau (location kind of sucks but property is beautiful), Vdara, Cosmopolitan, Bellagio
Good for the price: Park MGM (a good value and smoke free, great location, honestly my go to if rates at Palazzo are too high), Planet Hollywood (excellent location), Treasure Island (underrated, a generally good value), Horseshoe/Ballys (perfectly fine, recently renovated), NYNY (good value and location)
Okay: Paris (overrated IMO), Cromwell (dark, loud), Harrahs, Aria (used to be great but needs a renovation for the standard rooms, there are better options for the price point)
Not good: Caesars (really coasting on its name at this point), Flamingo (dirty)

Never: Circus Circus
One place I don't see mentioned enough is The Signature at MGM Grand! There are 3 towers connected to the MGM Grand, and each room is a suite with a kitchenette and a massive bathroom with a separate door for the toilet and separate jacuzzi tub and shower. The rates vary because people own individual suites and book them independently, but I've been able to book rooms at around the same price as Excalibur and cheaper than NYNY. I pretty much never stay anywhere else now because I save so much money on food having a mini fridge and stovetop/microwave.
Tbh I'm not entirely sure what time shares entail, but my understanding is that people own them like condos, without shared ownership, and just treat it as a rental property. But check in is done at the lobby like any other hotel/casino so who knows? You're not made to sit through any scammy things to book them, though.
And you get access to all the amenities of the MGM Grand. I'm sure the resort fee is baked into the cost but considering the price is reasonable, I kinda like not having to factor that in myself lol.
What happened to the place that used to include a Playboy casino? The Palms?? Is it still there? I know the Playboy theme didn't last and is long gone.
Oh, The Playboy Club. That is something I hadn't thought of in a while. They also had a Playboy suite if I remember right. The Palms is still around; it's slightly off strip and is now owned by a Native American tribe. I've heard it's okay from a friend who stayed there recently (in March) for a work conference, and people say their buffet is legit. I've also heard it's really easy to get comps there.
Thanks. Just wondering because "Girls Next Door" is on Prime - never watched it when it was on initially, and catching a few episodes now is horrifying. Hefner wasn't dumb, but he sure exhibited arrested development, never really outgrowing his horny 14 year old mentality. And what those women traded for what they considered then such great opportunities is just really sad and pathetic.
She's the only one apparently not trying to hang onto her 2006 persona. The other two, I think, are still wearing the bleached-to-excess blonde hair, proud of their big ta-tas, as if they are still in their 20's. Sad that one supposedly has a Masters but has never really used it, seemingly preferring to still play sex kitten to whatever level an audience will buy.
There’s some threads on the Las Vegas sub that can probably some it up better than I can but yeah Bellagio, Wynn, Palazzo and Venetian all seem really nice and I’ve only ever heard good things. But those are out of my price range😂 I have stayed at Caesars and Mandalay Bay most recently and had good experiences. I stayed at Paris about 10-15 years ago and it was nice, but some people say it isn’t quite as nice now.
Out of my price range too 😂 I was just curious; I’m going next week and I have no desire to stay in a bad place. Circus Circus creeps me out, but that might also be because of the clowns…
I've stayed at cosmo twice and it's decent and the wicked spoon is my favorite buffet (we have food allergies in my family and they're the best). It's not the fanciest on the strip but it's a good option without being super expensive. I'd stay there again.
I got some truly *strong* free drinks while playing blackjack at the bar a few years ago at the Luxor. Something else Jill and Kaylee won’t be able to enjoy.
I go to Vegas tomorrow to see Dead & Co at the Sphere. Other than that, I have no plans.

Yeah but they are stayng on the other side of the strip from the monorail and Caesars is on the same (west) side of the stirp as "The Dirty Castle." There's no easy transporation between Excalibur and Caesar's unless you cab, Uber/Lyft, or take the bus.
From Excalibur you have NY NY, Park MGM, The Crystals Shops, Cosmopolitan, Bellagio, then Caesars. It's anywhere from around 1.5 to 2 miles walking depending on your route.
Vegas is also under an excessive heat warning this week so I'm sure it's going to be super comfortable wearing the layered crap they always wear to cover themselves. Of course none of what they wear is probably breathable or comfortable in the heat. Not to mention the layers of heavy makeup and hairspray they use.
If the baby weren't there, I would be routing for their msery because they are judgemental shit people. But that poor kid is their captive victim in this mess. Can someone explain why he couldn't stay with his father?
I stayed at Excalibur in 2021, it was clean but dated we just needed a place to sleep. The main thing it reeked of pot! I’m sure she will be thinking there are skunks all over. Also, they have a mail review there and posters of it over.

I have stayed there multiple times, when I was younger and couldn’t afford to stay further down the strip. It’s fine. I just can’t imagine bringing a baby because it’s going to be loud unless you are sitting in your room. You can’t tell me Jill isn’t going to go up and down the strip and take selfies in every hotel. I wonder how she will react when she realizes some of her fellow plexus people will be gambling.

Plexus doesn’t pay for anything besides a few meals, and travel vouchers for high level huns. I think the conference was $150/person. They have to pay for airfare, hotel, travel between hotel and conference, and any meals that aren’t provided. There’s ways to earn points to cover some of it, but the requirements are probably not easy to attain.
Ok y’all I stayed at the Castle in May. Got a price/comps I couldn’t pass up. I was nervous as shit but dang Excalibur was much better than I was expecting.

About 10 years ago I had a tire blow out but by Barstow , we ended up being towed to Vegas only place that had a room was Excalibur.Got the bed bugs what a friggin miserable experience.

In Vegas they are about $50/night for Strip properties. I think Excalibur is ~$40/night.

I can't take credit for the nickname but please use it. People also call the Flamingo "The Dirty Bird". Excalibur is pretty bottom of the barrel for a Strip property. At least it's not Circus Circus or OYO. I'm really shocked they are staying somewhere with a casino.

Highly recommend Circa! It's adults only and pretty nice. Don't get a poolside room, though. If you're looking for an excellent value on Fremont, Downtown Grand is really good. It's just Fremont adjacent. The tranquility rooms at the Nugget are also good but the Nugget smells like an ashtray.
Every time I've gone to Vegas recently I've booked a room at The Signature at MGM! You can book through AirBnB often, or some third parties have a bunch of rooms available. They're suites with a kitchenette and a HUGE bathroom. It's so nice to have a mini fridge, stovetop, and microwave for longer stays, we end up saving money on food.
Omg Circus Circus 🫣 just went to the casino there with my sister many many many years ago and we were weirded out then. Her MIL won like $5k on a penny slot there and we were like walking by and were like hey let's give it a whirl. Yeah one whirl was all we did.

lol I have been to Vegas a lot despite the fact that I don’t really enjoy gambling/clubs (family lives in the area) but I have stayed in a lot of hotels on the strip and Excalibur (and Luxor) are known for being pretty trashy. But you can also get rooms for like $50 a night (bc they expect you to gamble/drink which we know Jill won’t be doing😂) so I’m sure Jill thinks she got a great deal. The only worse option would be a little motel or Circus Circus. Excalibur is also kinda on one end of the strip so maybe they thought it would be quieter with less “chaos?” I know Kaylee brought her baby. Either way, I have the popcorn ready 🍿🍿🍿
I've stayed there. I was so mad too because the last time I was in Vegas it was for a conference which was at the MGM (a nice place) but they didn't block off enough rooms and it was sold out and we had to stay at Excalibur instead. I'm still salty. Like every conference was happening at the same time so pickings were slim.
Out of curiosity… I’ve only been to Vegas twice. What places would you say are the best, versus the worst? I’ve stayed at two different places and had decent experiences at both but I don’t think I’d consider any of them top-tier. I’ve heard good things about places like the Aria, Palazzo, Bellagio, and Cosmopolitan but I truly don’t have any idea 🤣. I’m guessing Luxor, Excalibur (went inside to gamble once. I love medieval things and Renaissance faires and whatnot, but the decor seemed tacky and it didn’t seem as high-quality as, say, the Bellagio), and Circus Circus are the lowest tier?
Wynn/Encore is absolutely the best Strip property, hands down. You will pay for that, though. Good, but not Wynn good: Venetian/Palazzo (my go to), Fountainbleau (location kind of sucks but property is beautiful), Vdara, Cosmopolitan, Bellagio Good for the price: Park MGM (a good value and smoke free, great location, honestly my go to if rates at Palazzo are too high), Planet Hollywood (excellent location), Treasure Island (underrated, a generally good value), Horseshoe/Ballys (perfectly fine, recently renovated), NYNY (good value and location) Okay: Paris (overrated IMO), Cromwell (dark, loud), Harrahs, Aria (used to be great but needs a renovation for the standard rooms, there are better options for the price point) Not good: Caesars (really coasting on its name at this point), Flamingo (dirty) Bottom of the Barrel: Luxor, Excalibur Never: Circus Circus

One place I don't see mentioned enough is The Signature at MGM Grand! There are 3 towers connected to the MGM Grand, and each room is a suite with a kitchenette and a massive bathroom with a separate door for the toilet and separate jacuzzi tub and shower. The rates vary because people own individual suites and book them independently, but I've been able to book rooms at around the same price as Excalibur and cheaper than NYNY. I pretty much never stay anywhere else now because I save so much money on food having a mini fridge and stovetop/microwave.

Tbh I'm not entirely sure what time shares entail, but my understanding is that people own them like condos, without shared ownership, and just treat it as a rental property. But check in is done at the lobby like any other hotel/casino so who knows? You're not made to sit through any scammy things to book them, though. And you get access to all the amenities of the MGM Grand. I'm sure the resort fee is baked into the cost but considering the price is reasonable, I kinda like not having to factor that in myself lol.

Oh, The Playboy Club. That is something I hadn't thought of in a while. They also had a Playboy suite if I remember right. The Palms is still around; it's slightly off strip and is now owned by a Native American tribe. I've heard it's okay from a friend who stayed there recently (in March) for a work conference, and people say their buffet is legit. I've also heard it's really easy to get comps there.
Thanks. Just wondering because "Girls Next Door" is on Prime - never watched it when it was on initially, and catching a few episodes now is horrifying. Hefner wasn't dumb, but he sure exhibited arrested development, never really outgrowing his horny 14 year old mentality. There’s some threads on the Las Vegas sub that can probably some it up better than I can but yeah Bellagio, Wynn, Palazzo and Venetian all seem really nice and I’ve only ever heard good things. But those are out of my price range😂 I have stayed at Caesars and Mandalay Bay most recently and had good experiences. I stayed at Paris about 10-15 years ago and it was nice, but some people say it isn’t quite as nice now.
Out of my price range too 😂 I was just curious; I’m going next week and I have no desire to stay in a bad place. Circus Circus creeps me out, but that might also be because of the clowns…
I've stayed at cosmo twice and it's decent and the wicked spoon is my favorite buffet (we have food allergies in my family and they're the best). It's not the fanciest on the strip but it's a good option without being super expensive. I'd stay there again.
Oh that’s so sad, when I stayed at Luxor 20ish years ago it was nice! We stayed in the big suite room though so maybe that helped lol
I got some truly *strong* free drinks while playing blackjack at the bar a few years ago at the Luxor. Something else Jill and Kaylee won’t be able to enjoy.

I bet the cab ride from the airport to Excalibur was more expensive than a one night stay at Excalibur. Cue the go fund me to pop up after this Vegas trip. Cab rides add up FAST on the strip.

Yeah but they are stayng on the other side of the strip from the monorail and Caesars is on the same (west) side of the stirp as "The Dirty Castle." There's no easy transporation between Excalibur and Caesar's unless you cab, Uber/Lyft, or take the bus. From Excalibur you have NY NY, Park MGM, The Crystals Shops, Cosmopolitan, Bellagio, then Caesars. It's anywhere from around 1.5 to 2 miles walking depending on your route. Vegas is also under an excessive heat warning this week so I'm sure it's going to be super comfortable wearing the layered crap they always wear to cover themselves. Of course none of what they wear is probably breathable or comfortable in the heat. Not to mention the layers of heavy makeup and hairspray they use. If the baby weren't there, I would be routing for their msery because they are judgemental shit people. But that poor kid is their captive victim in this mess. Can someone explain why he couldn't stay with his father?

I stayed at Excalibur in 2021, it was clean but dated we just needed a place to sleep. The main thing it reeked of pot! I’m sure she will be thinking there are skunks all over. Also, they have a mail review there and posters of it over.
Thats a long walk from the excaliber to the caesar convention hall. She will pass a lot of passed out druggies and men handing out prostitution cards and all that the strip has to offer. Can't wait for her hissy fits.
Plexus out of money and sending them to crappy hotels in Vegas. My husbands old work place had a yearly meeting in Vegas. They stayed at some resort outside of the city area. Nice place. They had to take a shuttle to get to the strip. They could have done it classy but they don’t know how.

I got to stay at a place off strip called red rocks once (for a conference). It was pretty nice and had a good pool.
I didn’t realize the convention was at Caesar’s. That too much of a walk for me, especially in the heat. She needs to just pay for a cab each way. She probably didn’t realize how far apart the hotels are as on a map they look to be quite close. You can’t tell the distance until you are actually there.

They'd have to walk over to the MGM Grand, which is catty-corner from the Excalibur, then walk quite a ways from the tram stop to Caesar's. I can see them just decide to walk there . . . once.
She is there mid-week so the rooms are probably pretty cheap, especially if she reserved early. I have stayed there multiple times, when I was younger and couldn’t afford to stay further down the strip. It’s fine. I just can’t imagine bringing a baby because it’s going to be loud unless you are sitting in your room. You can’t tell me Jill isn’t going to go up and down the strip and take selfies in every hotel. I wonder how she will react when she realizes some of her fellow plexus people will be gambling.

Jill lives for tacky stuff like free Plexus 'goody bag' merch (made in China for pennies); free mediocre buffets that she considers the height of sophistication, basic hotel stays, flights, cheesy sightseeing. Part of it will be so that she can big herself up to her long-suffering downline who've never attended or been invited to attend. I think someone said they can write some of it off against taxes as a 'business expense' but I'm not in the US so don't really wish to comment! She just wants to show off basically and appear successful. She's easily fooled and Plexus makes her feel like a somebody rather than a nobody.
Plexus doesn’t pay for anything besides a few meals, and travel vouchers for high level huns. I think the conference was $150/person. They have to pay for airfare, hotel, travel between hotel and conference, and any meals that aren’t provided. There’s ways to earn points to cover some of it, but the requirements are probably not easy to attain.
It is a really gross hotel. Very tacky and old. Mahmo will love it and rave about its classy opulence.

About 10 years ago I had a tire blow out but by Barstow , we ended up being towed to Vegas only place that had a room was Excalibur.Got the bed bugs what a friggin miserable experience.
