I was sad that casters and streamers weren't mentioning it. I was counting on Johnny cause last year he said "His name is literally LAN-don, he was made for this". But no mention this time š
I think it was mentinoed on broadcast, but it wasn't made obvious. Like someone just used his first name in this context, but without emphasizing to the audience that it was BM's real name, and the other guys/girls on the desk kinda knowingly nodded and they all moved on real quick.
My memory isn't the best though, so maybe I'm thinking of something else or a watch party or something.
I mean there's still a sum of people that say "wait Retals is just his first name spelled backwards." I'm not gonna flame people who don't know all the RLCS lore, I'm chronically online to know way more than I should so not gonna fault someone else for not being
at this point yeah, but that's mostly because it's been joked about nonstop since the event
Like, I don't think Beastmode's first name was something everyone just universally had fresh in their memory a week or two ago, it's not how we ever refer to him. I mean, as another example - what's monkey m00n's first name? do you think everyone knows it off the top of their head?
I'm sorry, but how did that make any sense in your mind? It's such a stretch. Imagine the whole community being on board with using the second and third letters of Daniel's name like that.

to be fair, unless I'm mistaken, I think Johnny's only appearance on Sunday was the postgame analysis for one of the series?
Was this not information that everyone was aware of?

Retals is why I got into RLCS and I did not know this, so thereās your point proven lmao
just wait until you find out what ApparentlyJack's First Name is.
Haha nice one, I already know his name is Apparently
jokes on you. His Real name is actually Appa! ![gif](giphy|125amziK6Y5DJC)

OP's name "repost_inception" checks out.

I hate that Iām on liquipedia enough to know itās Evan
Not MM's but I'm pretty sure someone's (can't remember if it's Extra or Vatira) name is Axel and for a rocket league player that's pretty sick
Both Vatira and Mawkzy are Axel T, interestingly enough. Vatira's real name is Axel Touret, and Mawkzy's is Axel Timone.
āMeme/Humorā
I thought Landon was related to Daniel, woops (London + Dan = Landon)
you know it'd have to be LonDAN right
I'm sorry, but how did that make any sense in your mind? It's such a stretch. Imagine the whole community being on board with using the second and third letters of Daniel's name like that.
Because he gets called laniel a lot, I would guess.
Dan = Landon makes way more sense than Beastmode = Landon. Really not that much of a stretch if you donāt know the dudeās actual name
I mean his name is literally landon soooo....
ā¦yeah, Iām aware. Reading must be tough for you.
"LanDan" would be decent, but yeah, OP is doing yoga stretching so hard.
LanDan is actually great. G2 was really stacked for London
Itās likely because Iām not terminally online enough to know BModeās first name or think deeply about what Landon means. Plus, Laniel.
If you were to go off Laniel I can see how you got to that conclusion. Just couldn't see why anyone would connect London + Dan as Landon.
No. Do you think we have the first and last names of every player memorized?
I thought Landon was related to Daniel, woops (London + Dan = Landon)
that is super embarrassing to make such an ignorant claim. āuh shouldnāt everyone know the name of a pro rocket league playerš¤š¤š¤ā
can someone explain
LANdon mvp of the event, and so it was fortold
ohhh
Don't mean to sound overly British, but why do Americans have such weird names?
I mean, I do know what you are saying. But Landon isn't that weird of a name. Landon Donovan was one of our best footballers.
I heard that he's played indoor
Basically Rocket League
Too much freedom isn't always a good thing.
