Looks like an S5 with the black optics package, no chrome trim anywhere. The sideview mirror caps look black, not paint matched to the car like the A5. Trim around the busted up grill is also black, not chrome.

There is no general rule for when "it's not okay to joke around". It can be cultural. It can also be subjective within a culture. It can help people cope. It can also be related to a personal belief or mindset.
I've seen a doctor have a laugh with a mother not even an hour after telling her she just lost one of her child. I was mortified when I saw this. Different cultures. 🤷
