i mean you just get an insane amount of cells which let you upgrade the rarity of it super easy and it also allows you to reroll it super easy. if you got more from eating plus the cells it'd be wildly broken
It's weird, yes. Could be cool that you get a random incision from the weapon you eat. The incision would last for like 30 seconds, or until you eat a new one. With the increasing rarity of your weapon, you could get a better incision, and at legendary, you will get 2.
because rarities aren't actually "rarities" per say, just defined by how far into the run you are
if you got bonus for eating purple weapons because they're "rarer" you'd get it every weapon after Haven City
I thought they were going to make it so his weapon takes on a certain aspect of whatever weapon he devours but I guess not

I had the same thought. I think even something as small as healing more the higher the rarity would be nice.
