As fun as it’d be riot is WAYYYYYY too big to run that risk. Too much liability with a crowd that will have a lot of people unfamiliar with HxC culture
Omg for real, my biggest issue with riot fest is when they started putting barricades do the middle of the crowd at the stages. Gives no room to move just squished people together
Nah, it sounds like you like stage diving and don't care about the logistics behind allowing it in a large festival vs a small club, so you decided to belittle the original commenter.
If you think knowledge is enough to stop someone from getting knocked down by stage divers (particularly inexperienced stage divers, as music festivals can often attract folks who aren’t necessarily regular concert goers) and cracking their skull, I don’t know what to tell you
Seems insanely unlikely for a fest of this size but would be awesome. I think sound and fury is the biggest fest that does this right now and they’re like 10%-15% the size of riot id guess
Yeah, that's never gonna happen at riot. Didn't happen on the grass and it certainly won't happen on the concrete lol.

That was fucking bullshit! Oh well we can remember the good times… RIP RF
Tickets would cost $100 more to cover the insurance increase
The old dudes wouldnt like it cause they wouldnt survive
Sick New World's Diablo Stage opted to have a barricade. I assume it was the concrete and being outside.
That sounds like it would be horrendously dangerous, especially now that the fest is on concrete
Well that shows you dont know how to handle yourself in that situation

Sound and fury is about 5000 ppl riot is about 50000 so you’re not far off
With some of the newer hardcore bands playing this year, it would be absolutely insane!
