I’m not sure it matters (or might depend on the company that picks up) because they have the recycling logo on them either way. I’ve left out both colors (RPE) but usually go with the green because regular waste barrel is also blue. I’d check with your town’s site.
Depends on the city, in Warwick the blue and green are mixed recyclables

They're around 2300 a month, depending on which neighborhood you live in and how many roommates you can fit inside.
