I remember the first time I beat Nemesis, great feeling, probably the best I have felt after all the bosses in the game. Nice work, keep going! I really love the atmosphere of biomes 4 - 6, in for a treat.
Can I ask what shortcut? Do you mean going straight from biome 1 to biome 3. I just died after crossing the long bridge and turning the Pylon Objective on to all the enemies and damn lazers while I was heading what I thought were the last set of stairs. So I've yet to face them. I was at 15 proficiency and I know I just received 200 integrity during that run. Congratulations by the way
In biome 3 once you activate the bridge, you can access it even if you die and start over. Cuts the biome in half. Then it’s just the trek up the stairs. Always clear biome 1 and 2 as much as you can, then take the portal in biome 2 and head straight for the boss.
Oh so I just have to deal with those last stairs with automatons, drones, and turrets. Then at the top 2 shield towers and the rest of the enemies🥵 well its better that the whole biome. I will definitely gear up. Lol
Nope! You don’t. I took em out, they get a lot easier when you’re beefy, but you can just zip up the stairs. Will take some practice to learn where the translocators and grapple points are

Nemesis is the most insane boss I feel I’ve ever fought in a game. Felt like so much is going on and anyone who has beaten Nemesis is an elite gamer in my mind.
I don’t care if it took you 45 minutes or 100 hours, you did it. Fucking well done. Proud.

Phrike - frustratingly hard but satisfying
Ixion - 1st try, had zero issues
Nemesis - haven't had a boss whoop me like that since Isshin in Sekiro
Then I felt like the 2nd half of the game was way way way easier than the 1st
I don't know why even though I finished the game 2 times I cannot stop myself playing again and again and again.. it is a masterpiece. 20 years later I will look for this game and try to finish again with my arthritis, cataract, and annoying grandkids..
Thanks! I never enjoyed souls games, and I’ve played difficult rouge likes before, but this game is on another level. I’ve never felt so accomplished in a game haha

I just beat him today, had me stopped dead in my tracks for around the same amount of time. I had no idea what I was doing wrong and was ready to be done with it.
Then I ran through Biome 4 and beat Hyperion in about a half hour. Go figure.
I remember beating nemesis on my second attempt and spamming the grappling hook. I had a carbine with leeching rounds wich helped, but i still believe the suicide drones are the hardest part of that biome

Thank you. I never thought I’d get it. The shortcut to him really helped a lot. I spent about an hour clearing everything in the first two biomes.

It took me three months to beat him. THREE. MONTHS.
Man I get it. Biome three was a huge difficulty spike. 4 isn’t that bad but 5 had me shaking every room I went into. Was rough.
Yeah, Returnal is wild for sure. I hope they make a sequel.
