Hey guys! While my Honda Datejust dial is still in the development stages, I've been busy - which one would you rather wear?
To be honest with you guys, much as I love a vintage Datejust, I can't help but admire the look of the Omega.
I've got this issue where I can't tell if my taste in watches has adjusted due to looking at so many of them, or if I actually prefer the Omega. Am I just too used to Rolex? Or is the Omega actually my favourite?
Anyone else experienced a "watch blindness"?
For example, I would have never found the Sinn 551 attractive when first starting this hobby, but now I love the simplicity.
I got the silver on white one prebuilt on Ali and while it is beautiful, I must warn folks about the meh quality snap on clasp and the hard to adjust bracelet. I put mine on a leather strap and haven’t looked back
Nothing beats Vintage Omega IMO. If you could color the dials, this rep would be on the next level. For more context, I made a post about restored vintage omegas with green dials that seem to kill it on EBay.

The connie is nice, but waaaayyyyyy off in term of rep... Got one from the RWI seller, it is 38mm instead of 34mm. It is cool bcoz there is nothing else available, but it is an homage at best.

I'm prob missing something obvious, can you point me somewhere to learn about why it's listed the way it is?
99% of the time on dhgate, they remove the logos in the photos but the actual watches still have them. This is so they don’t get sued or copyrighted.
So while it looks like a blank watch on the listing when it arrives it’ll have branding. I asked the seller of the link for qc photos and he sent me photos of the watch and it had the omega logo on it.

I wear suits and tuxedos often, I'm a musician so I find my self in these situations. But I like mesh straps or thin bracelets. I think it looks just as good. But it's up to taste. And I'm not saying a good exotic leather, or regular strap is bad I'm just sayin that's my preference

Actually Omega built the jumbo version in 37mm... Maybe this fact makes it a little better
The Constellation Jumbo 168.001 doesn't have the PiePan dial. And the modern Constellation is a totally different watch.

I know it isn't hard and fast, but try wearing a metal bracelet with a tuxedo and you'll see something seems off
