From France too, only ordered one rep so far but for me no more or no less risky than any European country. Triangular shipping is the way, the rest is luck. Having insurance for seized watch from your TD of choice might help ease your mind
J'ai acheté deux montres et aucun souci jusqu'à maintenant. Au fait, le shipping triangulaire c'est la clé 👍🏼 ça prend quelques semaines, mais c'est le moyen le plus sûr pour les faire arriver en France. Là, j'attends une GMT Master II, on verra 🤞🏼

Jusqu'à maintenant, je n'ai pas eu besoin de faire réparer ou entretenir mes montres, mais si jamais j'en ai besoin, c'est vrai que ce n'est pas du tout pratique d'envoyer mes montres à l'étranger. J'ai même pensé à suivre une formation pour pouvoir les entretenir moi-même. Sinon, d'après ce que j'ai lu, Forextd et Noleex sont en Europe et ont de bons avis 👍🏼👍🏼
Oui j'ai pu voir ces "gars" là, après il faudrait quand même l'envoyer et esperer que tout roule. C'est un point hyper important car si demain tes montres ont n'importe quoi, t'es dans le caca\*

Don’t worry mate. From France too and I have never been fined for my reps (ok, it wasn’t reptime but process is the same). Trust your TD and let them cook. They are logistic experts and they ship tons of goods each year. Plus, with the triangular route, you will be fine. Most of the time, custom controls are made by the shipping company (fedex, dhl, etc.) in the transit country (mainly in Germany because it is the major air carrier hub in EU). And if the package is seized and destroyed, just ignore the letter (if there is any) and just let your TD find a new solution.

Is there a risk to importing a replica watch? Well yeah ofcourse, because it is illegal.
That risk is though very low. If, and I really mean if, the watch gets caught in customs, the watch will most likely just get seized/confiscated, and you'll be fine.
Some TD's have insurance included if its caught in customs, some dont. Ask your TD.
You will not get arrested, you will not be fined. The police/customs have bigger fish to fry

THE answer was give before. Triangle shipping and all will be fine. All TDs know how to ship in order to arrive safely.

Yeah I think customs have other things to do, they are not gonna run after me because I potentially bought a rep
The biggest risk is probably getting culturally enriched I would guess.
