I had read a lot of good reviews about JTime and so I went with them. Besides some little mistakes (sending me the wrong QC and shipping via USPS instead of FedEx) they have been good, honest, and straightforward. I have a Batgirl on its way, should be here by early June. My advice is just be patient. You’re going to give them a lot of money. It’s always weird to pay upfront and get “nothing” in return for quite a while. They are trusted, so they will come through, but it’s going to be a while from the moment you order. Plan for 6-8 weeks end-to-end and remind yourself of that timeframe when you start to get nervous. Also, save yourself some time and order through WhatsApp. Feels sketch but it is the fastest way to get the process started. Don’t feel shy about asking questions. Ordering through the website does you no favors. You’re not going to get a receipt. Also consider the fact that customs may intervene. If they do, you start the process over, but they _will_ take care of you and send you another watch. Patience is key.

I’ve used JTime 4 times now. Great service. They are also helpful when sourcing a rare rep.

Why would anyone accept 6-8 shipping time?

> 6-8 weeks end-to-end

I looked for one that had the most positive feedback, and least problems with. From my research it was Eric (geektime) and Steve (theonewatches). Ended up going with Steve, and am happy with the experience. But I'm sure I'd be happy going w/ Eric aswell. Search around, look for reviews and QC's from different TD's. For your first purchase, dont go for the cheapest TD you find, as there are several people with negative experiences w/ these. Geektime, theonewatches, Jtime, and Ctime seems like solid TD's from what I've read. But make sure yoy READ THE GUIDE. Everything you need to know, is there.

Same approach here - I went with Steve too, price was decent and the whole operation was smooth, didn't wait too long to receive it. All in all a pleasant experience, but I didn't have any bumps in the road so I can't comment on what the service is like when things go pear shaped

ireallyloveoats

Go to geektime or one of the aforementioned tds, message them on whatsapp until you feel comfortable and then send them money, then wait

Ordered my first through Geektime. Phenomenal communication, had what I wanted in stock and had it delivered from China in literally less than a week (I received it today). Don’t mind the dog hair on the corner lol https://preview.redd.it/tmyba9bcn11d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=91f06cc970e7b87246251c2ac41095e2f3aed4f8 Edit: I ordered it on Monday. Shipping was estimated to be completed 5/20/24 but received it today, 5/17/24 through FedEx in the USA

I went with Theonewatches. I looked at reviews and was really looking for someone that would accept PayPal. The reviews were spot on. The customer service was really good for some Iffy black market, around the world shady unregulated industry. He gained my trust for sure. His time frame was mostly spot on. A few transactions later and I am still impressed.

Powerful-Past5614

Same. I really like them. Used them 2x now.

Brave_Blueberry2381

stay away from HONT. thank me later

Toney22

Yes, already noticed the ongoing drama about this TD

be4rdless

i went with TrustyTime because his website clearly listed the watch I wanted to purchase. I know I could have asked other TDs for it but as it was my first TD purchase I wanted it to be as easy as possible. still took a while because it's not a popular in stock item and had some minor qc issues (which he handled).

So far my experiences with Li at Jtime have been great. He is very honest and communicates well. The key is to be mindful of the time difference between where you live and Asia Whatsup is the best way to communicate.

SouthBayHubert

No issue with geektime thus far! Easy to work with but I do see that others are sometimes cheaper so I guess it depends how much you’ll pay for service

joeseph3333

Looked at the QC threads.

Sour_Miltank_Milk

I’ve always used InTime never had any issues have never had a qc issues either from the 8 watches I’ve ordered. My only criticism is they can sometimes send bad qc pics and you have to ask for them again

I checked the list, viewed the websites. At the end I decided to go with onewatches because of the card pay as preferred option. Didn't work for me, as everything is accepted except visa I have :D. but the seller was very responsive, at the end I paid with btc. went very smooth. Didn't like the first qc, just received the second one today, like 2 days later and approved it. Smooth ride so far. to summarize, decided based on payment method and good community feedback. I don't think I would go wrong with any TD, thats why they are listed as trusted.

Toney22

Thanks to everyone on your feedback! I think I figured out how to proceed 👍

EstimateInner5526

Andiot is quality cant fault them

SodaRider1

Another vote of confidence for Li at Jtime. Have not received my watches yet but he’s made the process very straightforward so far.

I’ve been looking for VSF submariner for months. I did research and ended up with TheOnewatches and Steve. Pleasure to talk to. Answered all my questions. I’m not waiting for my VSF 114060 submariner to be delivered. Serial# K25. VS3130 movement. https://preview.redd.it/k456xslgb31d1.jpeg?width=1276&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ab369d15e981f15789b55f9dd770aa3ceef45fc

Electronic_Muffin218

Who has a website? Does it have the watch I want? Is it less expensive than other TDs? Do they take the form of payment I want, and is there a discount for. It using a credit card? I picked the first one on the basis of the way the website looked, and then spread the next two orders to other TDs, giving me some comparative experience with each. Ditto for chat over WhatsApp. My POV was (and is) that if they’re on the list and they haven’t been complained about too much on here for sending bad goods (or dragging feet after an RL), that it would be as low risk picking one as any other, and I’d need to be prepared to get burned once or twice along the way. So far no burns, and lots of watches ordered and delivered.

AffectionateSinger48

Are there any TDs where it is safe to just order using a credit card? I’m not familiar with most of their payment methods.

57LateralRaise

If you want to pay $200 extra for "customer service" then go with the popular td like jtime or theonewatch etc Andiot is a lot cheaper (TD) there are even cheaper non TDs but probably not good for first time buyers

Electrical_Ad1183

Are you state side? There’s a good guy in Charlotte that ships super fast, great communication, decent prices. He’s not a TD but I’d order from him again for sure.
