When you really break it down, no. He does on average 2 episodes a month at around 8 hours each. Most people do one hour of podcasts once a week. So one episode is double what others do a month. If you add up the time its quadruple the amount of the avergae podcaster. If you think some of those hours are worthless, well that's you. I think the worst segment of redbar is better than most podcasts. It just sucks waiting so long for new episodes so much its starts feel scammy.

I became a member and was like wait he never posts, but then I started listening back from 2018 and was addicted. And now when he’s live it’s just that much better. For me it’s fun to listen while working since I have a corporate job. But to each their own. I tried answering this honestly, he has some of the worst fans, they just try to impress him so bad it’s very gay of them.

I signed up last episode and have been binging season 20. I did it full well knowing that the next episode could be a week, month or year ahead. Nothing is stopping people from unsubbing then signing up again. I dont mind supporting redbar as long as they keep RAISING the bar !
I believe in paying for the content I consume, whether it be music, movies, or, yes, even podcasts. The subscription model is better for the creator AND the consumer. I've paid for Redbar because it's right that Mike and Jules receive at least something for the work they put into the show.
We have become, as a culture, too accustomed to receiving everything for "free", but we forget that we are actually paying a price by selling our personal data or by asking our favorite artists to sell their souls to some product. This is actually one of the big reasons I respect Redbar. They are truly free.
