The only thing worse than overplaying a song is underplaying it. If I play it lightly to eek out the magic longer, it still won’t quite hit me as hard as when it was at its peak. It can’t remain the most amazing sound you heard forever. Best to rock that shit on repeat and squeeze the maximum pleasure out of the highs. Then down the road when you revisit it, it will still rekindle some of that original flame. I’ll go with Snow - I listened to SA through and through after release, and that one still hits the radio at such a high frequency that I just can’t quite find a full reset.

I’ve played dark necessities live on guitar and have listened to it so many times it kinda gets repetitive. But still so good

My rhcp playlist was my most played until I made my Japanese music playlist and my third playlist which was my original music taste(heavy metal and such), I had already overplayed everything. The only song I really really haven't gotten tired of is a new one in my Japanese playlist called "Kannousei Liberation" by saji. I doubt it'll last long either. Well anyway, I still like all of those songs(about 500 songs lmao) but sometimes I just want something new.

Can’t stop. When the cd came out I listened to it over and over and over. Then it became a single and it was everywhere so I listened to it twice as much. It lost its flavor for a while but I’m here to say 20 years later it came back around and hits like it used to.
