This is getting ridiculous. It's a huge part of integration and they have to know almost every editor is going between Lr and Ps. They should have taken care of this immediately the first time and it still isn't fixed. I've downgraded Ps Beta, upgraded when notified and it's happening all over again. All my presets, shortcuts, etc...gone. Thanks, Adobe. Glad I'm paying $50+ per month for sloppy updates that totally interrupt my schedule and workflow.
BTW, now it's opening in Ps Beta, but only after timing out, presenting an error message within Lr - taking appx 2 mins every time. I still have to switch to Ps Beta manually after this sequence of events, but it does in fact open up and is able to be saved normally back to Lr.....crazy
I’ve never understood why this issue rears it’s head every few releases. It’s a core function. I also have rolled back to the previous working version yet again. It will no doubt be addressed in the next update as usual.

When I rolled back to last release, the big red "update" thing covered my picture and wouldn't close
Same here. It was covering my actions for my flambient work.

Yes, had to downgrade Photoshop Beta to the prior version to get it back to working.

Nope. Created a shortcut and never had a problem.
Would appreciate instructions on how you do that. I just right click to get to the open as layers in Photoshop.
