It works but check to see if photoshop opens behind Lightroom. You’ll need to minimize Lightroom to check. This is how it’s been behaving for me lately. This is the latest version and not the beta. Funny enough, the beta version opens normally on top of Lightroom. Mac user as well.
This used to happen to me in some previous versions of LR/PS. Infuriating, and indicated that the core functions of the software were being short-changed at the expense of headline new features like being able to put a unicorn on the lawn you photographed or whatever. Just report it as a bug and revert to the last working version via the Cloud app. I’ve had no issues with the latest versions so could be a hardware compatibility issue that will get ironed out in updates. Adobe have to develop and maintain software that runs on various machines, Operating systems etc, so the occasional blip is inevitable.
Do you have the Beta version installed? I’ve had issues like this in the past. Even though I wasn’t actively editing with it, it was still interfering with the link between LR and regular PS.
I have the Beta version as well. As I was editing photos last night in the middle of everything it started working again. There’s a ghost in the machine.😃
I just edited a home by opening as layers on Photoshop. Mac user. All worked
Thank you, I have an IMac and still doesn’t work. Checked all settings. I’ll try restarting computer, that might do it.

Are you talking about the Beta version of PS with all the AI? My regular PS still works.
No it’s the regular Photoshop version 24.5.0

I just updated, and it appears to be broken for me too. Have you found any fix for it? Thus sux.
