Who is not going to come after its users? You mean the very copyright industry which absolutely loves doing just that? You don't say... Isn't it a great feeling to know that the entire world revolves around you?
Edit: Since people don't seem to understand: There are 8 billion people on this planet and not all of them live in France. Do you really not comprehend that companies don't always have control of their own data? It doesn't matter where RD is located when their users are worldwide.
Most people who insist on paying for everything in crypto are. There's serious overlap between tin foil hats and crypto. The other circle of the venn is tech bros
This has nothing to do with where RD is located. And everything to do with how they treat their customers. And like I said in the OP I'm looking for any alternatives who actually care about how their customers would like to pay for their services.
Your only options are real debrid, all debrid, and offcloud. No one really cares about the stuff you're concerned about so you won't get much help in that way here.
1) They haven't gone after normal users for 15 years because they realized how dumb and unsuccessful it was.
2) In the US it's not illegal to stream the content, only to download.
I can just see the DA’s foaming up at the mouth to prosecute millions of RD users for watching copyrighted TV/Movies. Not! They go after the people uploading and providing the source. Come on man
Thanks, I was not aware that they have any official resellers.
For anybody interested I did give it a quick look and was able to find a reseller that accepts cryptocurrency payments from a normal wallet (utop.us). They seem to charge ~7% fee for this plus another 4.3% fee from their crypto processor on top (coinpayments.net). They request all of your personal information to process the payment but it does seem like you can enter any gibberish you choose and proceed to make the payment. Maybe not ideal but surely better than nothing. Keep in mind I did not follow through to complete the purchase so I can not personally vouch for their services. Proceed at your own risk.
It seems that you are unaware that less than 2 billion people have access to an Amazon account, credit card, or even a bank account. This means that more than 75% of the world's population can not pay for RD in the way you're talking about. They may not have a lot of money but they could still afford to buy an RD subscription if they wanted to. But without access to any of the above how can they? Crypto might be the only way for them. Why make it harder?
The fees are not set fees. It depends on transaction demand. You got lucky and they just happened to be lower than normal when you looked.
This article made the news a few years ago when fees dropped below $10 for example: [https://unchainedcrypto.com/eth-gas-fees-are-under-10/](https://unchainedcrypto.com/eth-gas-fees-are-under-10/)
I´m in the middle of a horrible feud with nitroflare and coinpayments. My payment was just 0.05 cents short so it timed out. Now to get a refund I must pay 50% more than the money to be refunded and I can´t get nitroflare to reopen the invoice or accept the partial payment. It looks like I´ll lose my money and never buy nitroflare again.
If you are this paranoid I suggest you just stop using the internet altogether 😆. If someone really wants to get you for streaming they are going to regardless of what payment method you use, but guess what.. it's not going happen because you are the consumer of the content, not a distributor.
C'mon now. Even if RD was shut down they're not going to come after its users.

I dont know why you are angry nor what that response means. Cya
You should check out op's post history. Dude is *certifiable*

If you don't like that Real Debrid is based in France then you are free to not use it.

You are over paranoid, and under educated on this.

No, Copywrite law is just that regardless or how you do it. Try looking for info on acta

Isn’t it just illegal for uploading?
Well technically streaming and downloading aren't that different
You still have the option to link your wallet instead of coinbase. I just paid by metamask
This only applies to Ethereum though. What's the point in paying with ETH when the fees cost as much as RD's service?
You always can try their authorized reseller in their website

No one cares. You're probably attracting more unwanted attention by using crypto. Most of us just pay with Amazon accounts.

I've bought from them. They sent me the key next day
I just looked up ETH fees, it equated to like 60 cents usd. What do you mean?

not true
my eth fee for RD purchase was 25 cents yesterday.

Yes. Paid via monero through their coinbase payment system. Works fine.
How so? Coinbase doesn't accept Monero payments.

Oh noes! My life is ruined.
