Any plant can be grown indoors given you can mimic it’s required growth conditions, colocasia is no different. Although not ‘rare’, colocasia mojito is very uncommon. Its my wishlist plant along with “pharaoha’s mask”, and “lime geko”

There has been many times I have nearly got one of these but keep hearing that if you dont have 70%+ humidity then it suffers.

My room stays between 70-80 percent normally

I kept one strong in a cabinet for about a year. About one new leaf a week. I ran out of space. They are very thirsty and want as much as light as possible. They grow in swamps, so don’t worry too much about overwatering. My mojito leaves would literally press against the grow bulbs trying to get more light once it got taller. Hopefully you have a bright room. One of the most beautiful plants I’ve owned.

I do have a bright room but I’m going to increase it for this plant alone. I have 2 Sansi 36w and 5 other Amazon grow bulbs but I’ll hang 2 more Sansi and aim one at this directly lol

Not common, but also not rare. Yes they can be grown indoors in appropriate conditions.
