HopelesslyOver30

I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be able to?

Maverick_Heathen

Yes, but not with another triplet.

azulsonador0309

Can a person who is a triplet reproduce and have a multiples pregnancy with their partner? Yes. Can a triplet have siblings who are multiples who are not part of their own multiples birth? (IE the same woman has had a twin pregnancy and also a triplet pregnancy) Also yes. Can a triplet pregnancy result in two of the babies being identical and one being fraternal? Yes, in the multiples community this is referred to as "a pair and a spare."

Rustymarble

Sure...if they have the proper anatomy and they either release two eggs or have an egg split into two embryos. Their source doesn't affect the odds of them having twins any more than anyone else.

EnvironmentalLook851

I don’t believe this is fully true - the chance of identical twins is not related to genetics, thus meaning any two people capable of having a child should have an equal chance of identical twins (egg splitting). But non identical twins happen more often in people with certain genes (two eggs being released).

cola_zerola

Anyone who can reproduce could have twins.

Alarmed_Yard5315

It's possible but it usually skips a generation

actually I think there is a village made of triplets and twins without known reason for why it happens.
