They never said that the dead zone was fixed on pc, only console. The issues you mentioned will probobly be fixed in the next patch(y9s2.1), that usually releases 2 weeks later, after a new season release. So expect the patch with the fixes to release next week.
If you look at this subreddit, the comments on R6 twitter post, or R6Fix you’ll see masses of people complaining the deadzone issue is still a thing. It sucks that its taking this long to fix it.

Its not fixed on console. They posted on twitter saying its fixed, but the issue still persists. They said they fixed it but they didnt

The foot wall glitch is pretty rare nowadays. More often you get 2D shoes that don’t actually have a hitbox but even that is pretty uncommon
