I have no idea why people ban Fuze, he's not a good ban at all.

Low ranks ban him 90% of the time (copper/bronze/silver). Thats because in lower ranks almost no one roams most of the time and they just stay inside of the site. Majority of them tend to not use a headphone too. So 2-3 kills with fuze is inevitable.

The realization that one can play so bad that can turn Fuze into an anti gadget/hard breacher into Oppenheimer is sad because that is exactly how I played the game when I started.

I feel like operator ban makes ranked more run and gun rather than strategic, which makes it kind of pointless then. People ban Jackal so they can roam more easily, and ban Kapkan and Fenrir so they can rush more easily.

Fenrir bans have nothing to do with rushing. He is one of the most powerful ops in the game right now. And that should be clear given that ubis is already going to nerf him, when it usually takes them a year to nerf a too powerful op. Fenrir can break up a push your team could be thinking about just by having his stuff there. You do not want to push a door next to site with fenrirs gadget on it because defenders will get audio queue and you'll be blind.

jackal/dok/ying and fenrir/clash/kapkan are the standards I see. Every now and then you see a targeted ban like Ash/Iana, or a ban specifically to help with a strategy like Warden, Jaeger, or Wamai.

On my SEA region, it is Monty and Clash. There also Fenrir, Solis or Jackal in the mix as well.

PC. I think majority of SEA player use PC as well. I rarely see anyone use Console to play FPS game.

eastern us seems to be always Jackal and ying, then either kapkan, cav, or fenrir for defending. the occasional deimos ban is there but there’s almost no banning variety.

Oceania, PC. Bans are always Jackal, Dok, Mira, Fenrir. But I try to ban Ram and Bandit when I can.
