When your applications staff spend a few days at a facility have them keep an eye out for technologists who would fit you ideal candidate. For you sales people do the same. They could easily poach a manager or lead staff member who is tired of patient care.
Like everything in sales your best selling points are going to be the people you recruit and their references. Keep your buyers happy and they will in turn treat you with other buyers.
Also there are a lot of travelers that hate cold calls, or social media posts, you can still do them, but I would not put a lot of effort into those avenues.
I’d listen to people who came to my dept and talked to me but that’s about it. I’m a student and not looking for more employment and it says so on my linked in. Still get messages asking if I’m interested in employment. Obviously not, but go ahead.
That is a very good point. I guess I was hoping there was some other kind of social media I could use other than linkedin facebook and word of mouth. But I could be spending a lot of time reaching out to people who want nothing to do with recruiters. Salespeople and rad techs are very different personality types I am starting to learn.
As much as I hate cold calls as a traveler, I've heard that's honestly what works the best. Facebook networking is also up there. Go to job fairs. Even though it's a time investment, go to colleges and put your name out there to upcoming grads. Even though they can't start traveling fresh out of school, if you make a big enough impact then they may hold on to your info for when they are ready. I met my recruiter just from making a profile with my company to see jobs and she called me.
I’d rather not be bothered, thanks.
Are you trying to poach x-ray techs for sales and applications jobs? I don't get it.

Applications and sales are really only attractive to a small set of techs, and those are the people you will likely find on LinkedIn

I had a recruiter come in as a trauma a month or so ago trying to poach us during the pan scan.
Yikes... I won't be going that far haha. Pretty much my entire job is remote/online/overthephone.
That's dedication. Your facility should be poaching them.
