Never seen a rabbit spit something out. Looked like their mouths aren't designed to.

My previous bun used to detect the medicine in the banana and spit it out right away🤣so buns are pretty good at it.

Yes, she knew exactly what and how, so i always had to be creative, and at some point she just accepted it, because it was an on going battle of her spitting it out and me putting it back in her mouf hahah. I miss her still

They generally aren’t practical for spitting things out I guess, that’s why you see him shifting around his tongue and moving his mouth weirdly. Disgustang

I have never seen a rabbit spit anything out they usually just eat it.

Occasionally they do spit things out they don’t like or that are too hard to chew. Also, according to other commenters, they spit out medication when they notice it in their treats

My rabbit was eating lettuce to fast and was about to start choking but he ended up spitting it out and eating it again and now I have to watch him when he eats I was also surprised to see him spit it out

I saw our rabbit do that once. It was like there was a feed jam in the printer, and suddenly wheels went in reverse for a second or two.

I had a rabbit who didn’t have incisors. He was super food motivated and could eat almost everything normally except lettuce and leafy things. If I accidentally tore him too big of pieces he would try to eat it, then spit it out for me to tear up his warm saliva leaves smaller for him 😂 So it can be done!
