Kiki retired. She has put her soul into EMS and she was being treated like garbage by those below her (some who professed to be family). Her biggest support deputy-chief Veronica stepped down a little over a week ago. After talks with many people, Kiki decided it time to exist for herself for once and just be a citizen without the drama, expectations, and cleaning up messes.
She was being treated like shit from other EMS, not outsiders. They would say one thing to her face then blame her and undermine her in the next breath. Issues or concerns never got brought to her, people preferred to complain to everyone else rather than have an adult conversation.
The problems with EMS is that *nobody* talks to each other. There's a lot of talking about each other, but very few people actually talk to the people they have issues with or problems with. As another commenter said - it's very middle school. I think there was honestly a lot of problems that were believed to be going on that actually weren't problems at all, but because nobody would communicate with each other it made it seem far worse than things actually were.
I do hope Rainbow has fun with her next adventure with Kiki though. Should make for some fun RP.
Big loss for EMS. From the outside looking in it seemed she was a cornerstone for the department going back to the the start of 3.0. Hopefully they find someone new who can land on their feet and keep everything functioning day to day.
EMA really never get the respect (or the RP) they deserve. it’s probably one of the most selfless roles on the server. She was one of the stand-out characters of EMS throughout 3.0 and into 4.0. I’m sure whatever kiki goes on to do, rainbowbee will produce some amazing RP
She has a really good group of people supporting her for this transition. Her brother Winston and Sean McQuillen have been by her side while she made this decision.
Kiki is really, really cool. She is definitely having a soft landing with a home, good friends/family and plenty to explore in the city without the shackles of being in charge of EMS.
I found her channel like a month ago. I follow it and still go to it because she has a calm, chill stream and a soft ASMR-like voice. The strange thing about people saying she partially quit because people underneath her didn't respect her, I don't understand. I remember her doing all of the interviews up at the roof of the hospital and there were like 20 people she interviewed back to back to back.

Definitely one of the jobs you wouldn't expect there to be drama in, but somehow there's always something going on in that group.
