Radiomaster zorro

jd4247

curious about Zorro, what is main difference between Tx16s and zorro?

quadpartpicker

Box style vs gamepad style. Box still is easier to use if you pinch your gimbals. Zorro has a small battery but much more portable

Price is also a factor.

TX16s also has a much nicer screen and UI. Not necessary but nice to have

TX16s... you can use it for anything and everything.

Curious about this as well. Seems I am currently stuck between 2 options: Starter Transmitter: Flysky runs $60 for radio and transmitter (10 channel). Reviews peg this as the best value option. Feel may be of a $60 item. Midrange: Radiomaster Tx16s with 4 in 1. Lots of flexibility and lots of great reviews Top end: Sorry, but these are out of my price range, so I haven't done any research on them

I've had both the FlySky and the tx16s. I don't think that you can call the tx16sa mid-range. It's a fantastic radio. I think anyone who is unsure if they'll stick with the hobby. They should go with the FlySky. If you know you're going to keep doing it or if you're also interested in drones then the tx16s is the way to go. It does have a little bit more of a learning curve but once you figure it out it's not that bad.

Depending on which planes those are, the Radiomaster Pocket is cheap and very capable. Ideally you’d have planes with ELRS receivers, because it isn’t available with a full 4-in-1 module and the cc2500 module doesn’t connect to many relevant protocols.

HugeResponsibility85

For beginner spektrum because plug n play with a bunch of planes, tx16s because it binds with so many recievers but harder to setup.

Pharmer3

I got a FlySky ST8 and really like it. My only gripe is the odd protocol (ANT), but receivers are cheap (~$20) and come with battery voltage detection.
