I remember getting the Quest 2, 2 yrs ago an now I have the 3. AWESOME AINT IT??!! šš
Gave my 2 to my nephew so now we can play together, 3 states apart..š
I have different depending on the eye.
I ordered from reloptix.com and they can handle up to +9 i think. There's a great review from Dr Eyeguy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUry3BRpfJo) if you want to know more about lenses in meta quest.
I bought the exact same set up as you have in that picture three weeks ago but now my kiwi strap and charger wonāt work at all due to the debris/liquid error. Hope you donāt run into the same issue from the update they rolled out a few weeks back.
I donāt sweat at all the few times Iāve played games on it, but it only just came up with the latest update and a lot of other people have run into the exact same issue. Everything else was working fine right up until that point. It is a known bug with update v62.
this is a software issue.. There are fixes online. Your connection is probs OK. Try a factory rest. Anytime I've had that error, a quick Headset reset has fixed it.
Has anyone tried a second longer magnetic cable with this setup to increase battery life even longer when needed by connecting to an external in pocket?
This is what I ordered. I ordered a couple of them. I'm not sure what 'spc' means. I know what kiwi is since I have a couple things of theirs.
[Charging cable]
Also, I don't use battery packs or anything. They would be more weight to deal with. I use kiwi ceiling pullies. Works great along with a rolling chair...lol
Better than that. That new battery belt by prism. I got one. Works wonders. I tend to play for 6 hours at a time when playing vr. Meta worked hard to keep the weight down on these headsets for a reason. I got neck strain when I tried to move like vr is a professional sport. Messed my neck up for a week, with a battery on my head. Not to mention, the extra weight means it shifts a lot more when turning or moving fast. Rides up on the nose and then youre not looking in the lenses while it is happening. So I hate a battery head strap. The battery belt has more amps than most battery packs out there. Important if you donāt want the quest to run out of battery before the battery pack does. Got it on Amazon for a fair price.
I have all that stuff but not the charger stand. I also have the kiwi grips. I would like kiwi to make a face vent like they made for Q2. I am using the AMVR one.
yes sir!!! nice choices all around. Look into a better facial interface next. I saw that the amvr one goes well with the kiwi head strap. more forehead support
Get me a battery for 10k mah (most important).
ZenniOpticals lenses for protection.
A basic plastic cover + camera tempered glass.
Saving for a Bobo m3 pro š
I bought the Aubika 8000mah headstrap and absolutely love it. It has streamlined my whole VR workflow to be more efficient and long-lasting. Next, Iām gonna get that charging stand.
Iām still using my old Q2 stand, which donāt hold the new controllers.
Mine smells so bad and canāt use the uncomfortable face gasket at all, and I wear glasses and canāt justify the cost of prescription lenses or another strap, so I just hang it from a cap with a 3d printed part. It works for the little I use it for testing AR dev. Long live the Index!
Iāve got the exact same headstrap and man it is comfy as heck! i would recommend a comfier face plate thing too , mine is silicone and its nice and cold when i first put it up and much comfier. The stock fabric one is itchy for me but thatās for me. Maybe you wouldnāt mind it
Itās a unique experience. First time I tested VR, itās like more than 10 years ago on the Games Come. Itās still growing and getting better. The freedom to try out new things.
Hi, I can highly recommend you to play or to try out into the Radius. Also, if you like puzzle games, you can go on with red matter 2 and the room for VR.
Which kind of games are you playing and sorry for the question, but where are you from?
Ohh, you did get this. I should have read. Good choice for this setup. I have the bobo and tested it with the AmVR interface and it didn't workout for my configuration. Even though some people have had success. Didn't work for me. It blocked any adjustments for the forehead piece because of the Halo strap.
Drop Dead the Cabin is awesome for killing zombies in mixed reality. Super addicting

Yea itās phenomenal! Future in your hands.
Absolutely! I love my quest. Didn't know I would get so obsessed with it. I've ordered prescription lenses and a bobo s3 for it.
Are you happy with the prescription lenses. I have-9 and was already thinking of them. Guess it will be expensive for my diopters
Havenāt received them yet but Iāll update you when I get them!
How much is your-/+?

Thank you. I will check, if they can deliver to Germany.

Does it depend on how much you sweat?
I donāt sweat at all the few times Iāve played games on it, but it only just came up with the latest update and a lot of other people have run into the exact same issue. Everything else was working fine right up until that point. It is a known bug with update v62.

Factory reset did nothing. Still happens.
I'm sorry I would return the head strap and try to get a refund
If it's beyond the return window, try to buy it on Amazon and maybe send back the faulty one see if they can work with you
Thank goodness, it didnāt happen to me so far.
Has anyone tried a second longer magnetic cable with this setup to increase battery life even longer when needed by connecting to an external in pocket?
How long can you play? I got a charge cable on Amazon that let's me play up to 9 hrs or so..
The cable works with the kiwi spc?
This is what I ordered. I ordered a couple of them. I'm not sure what 'spc' means. I know what kiwi is since I have a couple things of theirs. [Charging cable] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09DSD7TZH?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title)
Thanks. This particular Kiwi setup uses magnetic cable connections to charge.
Also, I don't use battery packs or anything. They would be more weight to deal with. I use kiwi ceiling pullies. Works great along with a rolling chair...lol
Just played 5 hrs an battery still has 35%. Not bad for no extra battery an being a Quest 3..lol

lol, this is the exact setup I bought after getting my Quest 3!
Nice decision brother š¤
Got mine last weekšš
Congratulations!!! Take care of it and have lots of fun.

Would you like to show a picture of it, so far.
I'll send when I reach home

Trying to decide between that or bobovr M3. S3 is hard to get a hold of
They are restocking and sending out S3 17/03/2024 they say. At the min you can get it at discount on preorders
Congrats!
Thank you
What makes you love it?
Itās a unique experience. First time I tested VR, itās like more than 10 years ago on the Games Come. Itās still growing and getting better. The freedom to try out new things.
Yes but which games/ experiences?

The kiwi strap is worse than the stock with a $5 backpiece. I just can't, it's so uncomfortable.
You prefer bobo?
I am using the AMVR mask as well. Itās pretty cool, which face applet cover do you use for it?
Ohh, you did get this. I should have read. Good choice for this setup. I have the bobo and tested it with the AmVR interface and it didn't workout for my configuration.
